Hey all you mohawk, leather-clad, hard ass punk fans. This is Maggot with a nice Bouncing Souls review. This neatly put together review will give you all my deapest, darkest secrets on how I feel about this album, and maybe a litte extra if you're lucky. HA! Well i agree that this is a more mature side of the souls, and that it is a great album. But Papa Roach was NEVER GOOD and there new stuff probably sux!! how the fuck did this review get published i wouldnt compare em to minor threat or the circle jerks but its a preety good record already a classic like circle jerks, minor threat etc. This CD is pretty decent. It doesn't have the bullshit that Good Charlotte and New Found Glory do, but it doesn't really stand out that much. I like to listen to it sometimes, cuz its fun and it rocks, but it doesn't really make me think or anything. Good to just have a good time to. Maggot...another slipknot fan? and why the hell is he comparing the souls to papa roach? This is the best BS record though. and why does everyone have to put "i feel" or "i think" in their reviews? its just poor writing really... When i first got this album i loved it. now i can't even listen to it. this shit gets boring FAST. I spent my entire summer vacation on the toilet with diarhea. horrible horrible review, but as new as this cd is, its one of the most over-rated cds of all time. I love the souls, but I found this cd to be rather boring. It sounds like they are going WAY out of their way to make all of their songs into anthems and singalongs. (they now close shows with "Manthem" which features the most inappropriately placed "oi oi oi" ever, but its got an "oi oi oi" so people figure its the best singalong ever). True Believers is an excellent song, but I preferred the souls when there was a much more noticable descendents-influenced sound to them, as in s/t and everything before it. Hey Ramo what fucking grade school did you drop out of? Oh yeah, For this a rather I'll write my review in a sentence. This album is forgetabble and I rather hear their stuff from the split with Anti-Flag on BYO. Now go curl up and die. great album, bad review... when i got this last summer i listened to it for 7 hours straight because i loved it so much, and its still just as good There is a way better review of this awesome album in the review archives. I love the SOuls...this album is good I agree with anonymous. soybomb quotes andrew wk while insulting the bouncing souls. Totally retarded. Not thier best release.... i think that him thinking pap roach weren't crap before thier new cd would discredit him from reviews. Good album, not the souls best but still a good time Sorry guys, I was sleeping on the job with this one. I deleted all his band references, I'll proofread better next time. A bit disapointing when compared to their other albums (I rank them 1) Maniacal Laughter 2) The Good, the Bad, and the Argyle 3) Hopeless Romantic 4) ...Summer Vacation 5) s/t), but it's still an solid listen. Some amazing songs (That Song, True Believers, Manthem, Gone), but a bit too much filler. Still, if it's got the Souls name, you know it's worth your time. Um...do you guys even read the reviews anymore? Sadly, I thought this CD was horrible. wait, why did you guys let him talk about his band in a review about a boucing soul CD? really bad review, dont be so cocky |
