This band, despite numerous break-ups, has been one of the most consistant hardcore punk bands of our era(although it appears that they're finally done for good, but we've heard that one for before). This album was there last, and it will rock your ass from start to finish. Songs like "Tomorrow Starts Today", "Worst Man Won" and "Two Faced Bastard" are the perfect combination of hardcore and punk rock, while others like "Drunk and Ugly", "Newspaper", "Elmer's" and "Summer Photos" are more like the punk songs that I've come to love from this band. The entire album is done with extreme precision and,if you ask me, some of the best talent in the punk rock world. The guitar work is amazing on every song, and the drums literally leave me speechless. "Back On the Streets" also contains an incredible cover of Bad Brains' "Fearless Vampire Killers". It blows the original out of the water. It may be just because I've been a fan for so long, but I have yet to hear any band breach the boundries of punk and hardcore as well as 88 Fingers Louie does. Hopefully, we haven't seen the last of them.

BACK ON THE STREETS is on the top 10 list of best punk rock releases in the 90's. I love 88FL. Way better than Rise Against. I'm stoked they reunited (again) at the end of 09. I'm hoping it lasts this time. At least long enough for them to put out a new record.

damn, this band was awesome. Rise Against is still my favorite band, but they need to remember their roots. "100 Proof" is incredible.

    not bad at all.

I love Rise Against, seen them twice. Am willing to get over the corniest name, ever. But 88 Fingers Louie were one of the first punk bands I listened to, along with NOFX and Pennywise. Can't be totally replaced. They have a special place in my burned-out heart, even now. I wish they were still around, they'd be fucking bigger than God, Jesus, and the Devil combined.

Rise Against held my attention for a little while, but they've got nothing on the good ol' 88FL. Come on dude...they're legends. Their best work (coincidentally their last) is on their split with Kid Dynamite. Next up is this album though. I give it five stars.
