| Dismemberment Plan / French Kicks / Ex-Modelslive in Chicago2002 live show Review by: Veni_Vidi See others by this writer Only registered users can post comments Published on December 6th 2002
The show started off with a swift kick to the ear drums from a band from New York City, The Ex-Models. Their powerful spurts of hard-rocking riffs seemed to be powered by internal energy that shot through their fingers, and into their instruments. Their bodies twitched and jerked to some other time that fit their chaotic, distorted noise perfectly. They grinded drumsticks across the necks of thier guitars to produce a thunderous rumbling to match the clashing of the drummer's cymbals. These guys were energy packed, and knew how to rock out.

the muffin girl used to by my sn in like 5th grade. i wish i coulda been there this show kicked ass, but the ex models were god awful. seriously one of the worst live bands i've ever seen. holy cow....dplan, Engine Down and Hot Hot Heat...that must have been an AMAZING SHOW. the dude is jealous the dismemberment plan show in Seattle had Engine Down and Hot Hot Heat on the bill with the D Plan. wow. that was on of the best shows ive seen in a long time. D Plan owns. Someone needs to sign them, since they're free agents and all [with the demise of Desoto Records]. |
