Taking Back Sunday, The Starting Line, The Reunion Show, and Northstar played to a completely sold out Cat's Cradle on December 11 in Carborro, NC. In all the shows I've seen at the venue this was the one with the longest line ever. It was also a pretty diverse crowd there with I'd say about half there for Taking Back Sunday and half for The Starting Line. Please login or register to post comments. I dig Taking Back Sunday, i saw them at the chance in poughkeepsie ny last may and they were really good. adam was so hammered he needed the bouncers to catch him everytime he almost fell off the stage. They're really good live, but adam really wants to be in at the drive in. Everyone should join the Taking Back Sunday Yahoo Group! my feet smell like cheese. Daniel, I live in Richmond, do you still? I've seen both Thursday and Taking Back Sunday numerous times each and I think TBS does it just as well if not better. Sorry but ATDI and Thursday didn't invent jumping around and acting crazy on stage. phat show, i was there, i disagree with starting line. i was indifferent with them going into the show, but i thought they sucked ass, and i couldnt wait for them to get off. the other bands were great and TBS rocked TBS's live show is good if you've never seen At the Drive In or Thursday. Otherwise, its pretty much trite. yeah, this one time, i was so close that adam actually ejaculated in my mouth! yeah i was at club culture in ny in july and adam was bleeding from his lip and he got it all over my shirt. and i liked that shirt! blah, i still wear it lol. TBS is the greatest Bostonmusicguy has some of the worst taste on here and he says these bands are uninspired? Wow... Haha people whining about people whining are funny. About as funny as your girlfriend telling you her period's late. twat I have no use for any of these bands.... most seem really boring and uninspired. Taking Back Sunday has about 1 and a half good songs though so thats an upside i guess.-BostonMusicGuy The comments on this whole site make me sick, why's everyone so negative? We should all just hang out and listen to whatever we want and go to shows we want. Why all the hostility. In short, cheer up, be positive. Life's more fun that way. while i like tbs alot their lead singer is over dramitic like a high school play. that fucker adam actually hit me in the back of the head swinging that mic in june Great. The dipshit who calls people a twat and makes pointless comments is back. Cool rant about people's names you fucking dildo. Anyone who was at the MA show, if you didn't get the flyer, go to holdthismoment.com for info on their show with reach the sky in Salem, MA. It will be gnarly. Meh...TBS is kinda weak in my view. Hey i just went to this same show last night in MA. I have to agree with you about the Starting Line. They put on a really good live show but their fans are wicked annoying. They all do that pop punk synchronized jump thing... and little girls' ponytails hit me in the face every 2 seconds. Quite annoying. I saw this show in jacksonville a couple of nights before and the Starting Line headlined the show. They blew it. I like some of their songs but they sounded terrible. Taking Back Sunday killed it. why oh why won't TBS come to Toronto? Crapity crap crap. That is all. WOW! I'm surprised that a bunch of you are a few hours from Carrboro, that's my hometown. Cat's Cradle=amazing venue, especially for bands like Avail that come through regularly! Oh yeah, TBS rocks too, nothing original but they do it well. sounds like a great show. I wish TBS had played with them over here, instead of with box car and the used. TBS put on one insane live show?!?!? are you fucking positive?? cuz i'm pretty sure this is a tremendous exageration. maybe you need to go to some other shows. in fact, im sure you do. mike = mic, as in microphone, not my friend, i apologize for any confusion, it's late and i just got off work adam once busted open the guitarist's (not eddie) head with his mic swinging... it was in pitt... the same show he like broke his teeth on the mike... anyone else think he's a bit accident prone? "IT’S FUCKING JEFF! NOT GEOFF! It's not aimeeeee, its mother fucking Amy! If you spell your name with e's and i's and fucking ph's, I'm just going to call you stupid. If you say,” my name is jessssikua" no its not, it’s stupid. twat" Bashing bands is super punk rock so does TBS still jump around and do all that crazy shit, or is he still recovering from that injury? I'm gonna see them next month so hopefully it will be pretty good, i just hope he doesn't hit himself in the face with the mic before then Yeah I know how everyone says that Adam tries to be like Geoff. No I don't. Not at all. Can someone show me the difference between taking back sunday and saves the day? With voices that high on men, you know there’s some cock punching going on. Maybe they're like those Russian gymnasts that take hormones and shit to stay young. Wow! I can't wait to see that co-headling tour. Wouldn't it be cool if the 2 lead singer’s balls finally dropped? Then we wouldn't have to listen to their girlish screams. Ok, what the fuck is with parents these days!?!? IT’S FUCKING JEFF! NOT GEOFF! It's not aimeeeee, its mother fucking Amy! If you spell your name with e's and i's and fucking ph's, I'm just going to call you stupid. If you say,” my name is jessssikua" no its not, it’s stupid. twat sickboi, cat's cradle is my favorite venue in north carolina, plus it's basically the only place that gets decent shows, and its worth the 2 hour drive because i live 2 and a half from it, and everytime i have a real good time Yeah they said that when they played Head Club last night, don't know why but yeah. I like TSL but as you said most of the fans suck, I was surrounded by all these annoying people during TSL so I just went and stood over to the side. I'm surprised Adam hasn't seriously injured everyone else in the band with his crazy mic swinging. I saw them play head club in slc in august then again about a month ago i somehow doubt that they've only played head club twice ever The Cradle is a great venue, sickboi. I didn't see this show but that's the place I usually catch bands at. The Cat's Cradle is an okay club... where are you making the drive from? It's sort of like Twister's in Richmond... high stage, good PA. You can get alcohol at the All Ages shows, though, and though the bar is in the back you can go wherever you like with your drinks. To the reviewer: this show sounds like hell to me. Agreed. For what everyone says is an 'emo' band, TBS put on one of the most punk rock shows around. Northstar is good live too. |
