It's crap. This CD is 20 minutes of crap, crammed into a plastic jewel case with disembodied breasts on the cover. That is how sterile and generic this music feels. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
To the person with the comment below: Nat was just a puppet in Retro Morning. He played what Dan told him to and sang what Dan told him to. Sig Trans was a pile of turdmeat. Sig Transit and Retro Morning are comparable because they have a common member in Nate, the guitarist. you're a turd. This album may not be the be all end all release of the past ten years, but cut it a little slack. These two bands are quality people and do put on a fun live show. Some of the songs on the cd rock. If you are into power post synth post aggro super post rock then this maybe the CD for you. Cutting the fellas down anonymously may be cool for you but providing no constructive criticism is just plain a waste of time... Feel free to cut me down anonymously I enjoy it... The RHV's song could be mixed a little it better. The cuts kinda sound rushed... I know mixing isn't cheap. Anyway lates. say what you will about RHV but Retro Morning is pretty cool. Their songs have lots of good tempo changes and catchy melodies. I like them. Sig Transit Gloria is better than these bands. that doesn't make any sense... ska is to punk as shit is to animals. "i think that synth is to emo/indie as ska is to punk." sounds the same way shit smells. How cheap are we talking about here? I'll sell you mine. Not bad...sounds like pop punk with a synth added. If I saw the cd somewhere for cheap, I might buy it. rhv's manager works for polyvinyl... go figure. i love this cd. that's funny you say that. i've always loved the red hot valentines. i think that synth is to emo/indie as ska is to punk. i've loved the rhvs ever since my friend gave me a copy of their "there is no plan b" ep a few years ago. they put out another cd on double zero which was great, too. i think polyvinyl did a good job signing this band. |
