I need to come out... I'm a Christian. I know thats not punk, because punks all believe that God's not cool. I mean bad religion doesn't believe in God! There are times where i hate saying i'm a christian though because people use God for there own gain. (Isn't it funny? Bush bashes terrorists for their holy war. Then he says that God is on our side in this war. Hmmm...) "Old Man Thorn, he was good,Every christian gets asked things like this all the time, and we all have to deal with our own feeling toward god when crap like this happens. The town is probably best set by the track "Christian Hate Mail" about the hypocrites in the church who say that anyone who doesn't agree with EVERYTHING they say isn't a really christian. "I'm sure the fathers proud of the way you treat your brother, its sad to say the christian way is beating up each other." These guys proved to be a little too much for tooth and nail; they were dropped recently because they wanted to record an album of songs based on slasher flicks. (It's coming out this summer on a new label, I cant remember which one.) These guys are amazing. oh yeah. and ive actually heard this album and like it. heh. thought i should comment on the original source. To kurt_f, in reference to the “f-word”: Nope. Sorry. Those people aren't Christians. (the God hate fags people.) Get your real Christianity here: Yeah...they're still Christian. HAHA. Besides, I saw these guys once and they were horrible. I seriously think they are just trying to appeal to the young teen audience that have their parents allow them to go to a "Christian" concert. Yea man, Buhddism is soooo hip. It's all the rage nowadays, I mean, it's the only "religion" you can tell someone you are, and feel cool about it. "Naw dude, I'm Buhddist." Haha, what a crock. ill jsut join a religion, not call it "right" but affiliate myself with it anyway, jsut cuz it gives me more freedom to get drunk and shit yo check it out. my blueberry muffin looks like the virgin mary. i pledge alligance for you, o pastry one. Religion is a construct of the human desire to explain things that they don't understand. I'm not just saying Christianity, but all religions. I'm a Buddhist myself, but I was raised agnostic and left to find my own path and choose which religion (if any) was right for me. bullshit dude swearing stems from satan.......... Me and Jesus played roller hockey back in the day. I saw his brother, Carlo at Dairy Queen the other day. I bet if you were a poor carpenter back in the day you would try and figure some way out of it. Jesus was a smart man and played on people's vulnerabilities. He got a following so that he didn't have to chop any more goddamn wood - plain and simple. Jesus died, get over it. Catholics are Christians, in that they believe that Christ is the savior. Catholis aren't Christians...in fact, they are a big reason as to why most of the world's view on what they think Christianity is is so messed up. "The Christian life is NOT" ahh, typos. I remember being in Catholic school in about second grade and having a nun tell me that my dog who had recently died wasn't going to heaven, what a bitch. Honestly though, I don't care if you're christian, just don't try to convert me, ok? lmao....emo kids your safe yes animals dont ahve souls......my sunday school teacher told me......you may believe one ting but jesus aint teaching that.....and satan created rock n roll. Rock n roll is so loud cuz it is easier to manipulate us at loud decibils. oh and that last link was on the same internet as "Christian Rock from hell" oh no! could the internet have a page thats wrong? look kids... Music is Music. Christians playing it or not... God inspires all people. God Created Music. He created everything.. (We've just gone and messed most of it up.) When you start deviding everyone up into Christian and Secular, you are pinning one band as Messengers of God and one band as in the wrong. No on can claim that they represent God. (but they can worship him, "christian" lyrics or not.. (but only christians ;)) Blah, Do you separate your TV shows? Are Horses Evil? Cause God created those too, but i dont see them saying "Praise God!" For the record, the Catholic Church officially does not believe in the existence of a "hell". The doctrine is that the opposite of heaven is life without God, thus the "hell on earth theory". 1st thanks to the dude who explained beautifuly the base relationship with christ. sticky_floor says: I prefer Ramallah. This is an incredibly fun album to listen to, and an incredibly fun album to go see live. I'm interested in seeing what direction they're going to head after this new EP comes out. It's pretty dark and gloomy sounding so far. There's nothing wrong with god, unless your religion teaches you to fear him and his magic list of 10 things you shouldn't do, or he'll send you to an evil place. But remember, he loves you. The music of the Devil is entering the church!!!!!! Calibretto 13 fits right into the category of most christian punk: makes me happy. I'm not christian or atheist (atheism sounds like an organized religion made around no religion), I'm figuring it out myself, but I love Christian punk. I have a five iron frenzy CD that I whip out every time I'm upset. Always cheers me up. I say don't worry about Christianity, for the most part it's only helping people. Oh crap, I really wish I hadn't read this, because I know I'm going to get drug into many conversations. i love this band. its like listening to Beavis front an acoustic punk band with witty lyrics. You know why this band rocks? Calibretto is the name for a badass robot in the comic book "Battle Chasers." its impossible to like "rock n roll" and to follow gods lessons.....it says so here see http://www.biblebelievers.com/Rock1.html These guys rule...It's just so fun! All kidding aside though, this band is tolerable, but Union 13 is much better. fuck yeah thank you for writing this review. i have to be honest, i've never heard this band and i don't especially care to, but im so glad that somebody in this punk rock community thinks rationally for once. i'm christian too, and being christian amongst "punk rockers" really goes to show how closed-minded they can be (especially when most of them preach about being open-minded, a little bit of irony there). that said, i'm just glad that somebody feels the way i do. thanks sir Eek...talk about bad cover art.
