Okay, I know there's a reason no one has submitted this review yet because who in their right mind will admit shelling out $31 to go to this show? Unfortunately, I did. Before going to this show, I was definitely a fan of New Found Glory, having seen them twice before they got big and Hot Rod Circuit, whose albums I like a lot and give a decent live performance. Go Pens, fuck yeah. How the Flyers can complain about being dirty is beyond me, Brashear alone is dirtier than most other teams combined. ok all theese bands suuuuuuuuuuuuck,and both those bands are killing punk fuck the flyers. any team with jeremy roenick shouldnt complain about dirty hockey players.i like how even with over double the budget the sens have, and most other teams, they can't get their shti together. the sweep last year was a goddamn riot though. go PENS! one more year Mario... I went to an all midget show once, never has it been so easy to headwalk. Are you a fucking moron? FUCK them! borders and boundaries was their best album. now they are dead. major labels, as cliche as this may sound, ruin rock and roll. Blah blah blah, lets all argue about 3 abortion-inducing bands! This is the most pointless argument I have ever seen. Every one of you that attended should give your ears to a deaf person immediately. Because its obvious that they are going to waste. Every one of you that went to this show should also Kurt yourself. Seriously if any of you need a Courtney out there to help you, just ask a friend. twat to the dude 2 posts below, regarding fat wreck. the problem was that fat didnt spend enough time or resources promoting the album, at least to ltj's liking. they were not a label priority and the sales were crappy , very crappy. (now maybe that had something to do with the fact that the album was not nearly as good as losing streak or rockview, but the band thinks its a great cd) so they blamed the label, fat agreed they didnt market ltj as much as they should and they split. now they have banners all over the place and a video on deck, so they get the promo they want, but have to deal w/ the drawbacks of a major, but the plus's outweigh the negatives (money). its business, i dont' blame them. How many people actually had Nothing Gold Can Stay before S/T...yeah, that's what I thought. someone stated below that they didn't know why LTJ felt the need to do this tour and expand their fanbase to 12 year old girls..the answer is simple...they're a MAJOR LABEL BAND. They do what Warner Bros tells them to do. I talked to Viny online a few weeks before this tour and asked hiw what he felt about being billed as an up and coming band...he said it was bullshit and very insulting. He obviously didn't wanna do it, but they were forced...the reason I have no sympathy is cause they fuckin signed the dotted line. I'd liek to know what was wrong with Fat Wreck Holy shit, the commenter below me is PURE COMEDY. dude you sucked!!! that concert was the best! i went backstage and to say they aren't punk well...you know nothing! just shut up! pro tools is a software package for studio recording, including auto tuning and shit. it doesnt have any purpose live though, i dont' know what this dude a few below me is talking about... I saw Less than jake with bad religion a few years back in the electric factory and it was an amazing show. I thought less than jake played better than bad religion. Less than Jake came on before bad religion and stole the energy for the most part. TO answer your question less than jake seriously rocks at the Electric Factory. great review... shitty bands (aside from less than jake and hot rod circuit) theres not much else to say besides im so glad i didn't waste my money on this concert just to see ltj, who ill be seeing at warped anyway... a little something called pro-tools pal. Look into it. How does one sound clean and polished live? Fucking idiots.. I don't care for their music but that statement is retarded. first nufan with starting line and sum41, now less than jake with gc and nfg WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!!! YAY! NFG and Good Charolette ROCK! I hope their tour is coming to JFK Elementary School so i can see them! YAY! GO HOT TOPIC! it's a shame less than jake is on this tour i live around philly.. and know a lot of kids that went to this concert.. kids i didnt even think listened to this type of music.. i like pop punk u could say.. but i still have taste. good charlotte once was decent.. and now horrible, nfg was good back when it was nothing gold can stay. but anyway, all the kids raved about the concert and how amazing it was. not surprising. and the following monday they all wore their 'cool''punk' tshirts. again not surprising for kids that go to a mtv sponsored tour. i asked how it was, they said that hot rod circuit (a band none of them had EVER heard of) was okay, but that nfg took the show, and good charlotte's 10 minute long speech was also amazing. i wanted to kill myself. honestly, what is the world coming to? as much as i like old nfg, i have to say it. sellouts. and i understand that making money is good, but to go on a 'trl' tour.. thats just going to low. i pity you for wasting your money on a concert you should have known was gonna be bad. I'm sorry, but every time this reviewer attempts to make himself look better by insulting NFG or GC he just looks like an even bigger ass, for paying to see this band. No excuses: his girlfriend didn't force him, he didn't win the tickets and have to take his little sister. He wanted to go. And this is his fucking fault. I can say what I say as I didn't pay 31 dollars to read this review. This guy is a dork. " To the post three posts down (I wrote the review btw)...Hot Rod Circuit only did play for fifteen minutes. Maybe they'll give Stretch Armstrong more time but I'd doubt it. It was an extremely long show as I didn't get home until 1:00 in the morning -- it starting at 7 and me living 40 minutes away. Hopefully for your sake though, the set times will change. If you watch CNN you're getting a Biased opinion. The only thing that I know of on TV that gives an unbiased opinion on everything is cspan. i can't believe GC and NFG picked less than jake to open! it ruins the lineup! you can't open a street punk show with ska! The most I ever paid was $34(canadian)to see Bad Religion, and that was a rare fucking exception,I like NFG and LTJ but your fucking insane paying out the ass for that show... I dont care about being perceived as punk at all. I speak on behalf of a lot of people when I say that NFG and GC suck. They are horrible. They write the worst lyrics, coupled with crappy music. Both of these bands are the epitome of what is wrong with music today. I can remember when NFG opened for Less Than Jake, that was what, 2 years ago? I hate teenies. hot rod circuit sucks sooo hard live! the lead guitarist is such a fucking hick it makes me so sad that a band as amazing as Less Than Jake was opening for bands as abso-fucking-lutely horrible as Good Charlotte and NFG... my god are those bands ever bad... (although to their credit NFG had one good song... something involving a record... and the guitarist used to sing for Shai Halud who are absolutely amazing...) all you music illiterates cant even argue your point why gc and nfg suck. I think it's hilarious that people complain about reviews like this making it on the site, yet look how many reads and comments it gets. If anyone cares, I found a site the other day, http://less_than_jack.tripod.com/ that has live versions of a lot of the songs off of anthem. I downloaded Best Wishes To Your Black Lung, Plastic Cup Politics and Short Fuse Burning and thought they were all awesome. Also, they played She's Gonna Break Soon on this tour and it sounds much better live. Still not their best song, but much better than that shit that was on the video. With the exception of She's Gonna Break soon, I really liked the songs on the Ltj e-card. The original Look What Happened sounded way too much like a blink 182 song, the new version has more of an edge on it. Selling Yourself Short was a fucking charm! a seven nation army couldnt hold me back if the meaning of punk is there is no meaning, then how are gc not punk? the number of 15 year olds on this site needs to be reduced, can't there be age checks or something..this guy below me should be reason enough don't diss the white stripes, fuckass. The cheapest I can get a ticket for after ticketmaster service charges on average is $20. It is a huge rip, but $31 for an arena tour with these bands playing isn't too far fetched. Be real, you all know blink would have been around $40 at least. I went to this show in Fairfax, VA last night for free because my roommate works at the venue. My impressions: Right, so a bunch of major label pop-punk bands, a bunch of 12 year old girls, and alot of uninspired music... really? what DID you expect? My predictions: wow another nominee for assmunch tour of the year. keep'em coming.--->Ramo i love people who shell out big bucks to go to crappy tours that are played by bands who half-ass it and are obviously going to attract a lame crowd and then complain about it.
