bubblegum rap, let it come. Transplants are THE WORST band out right now. Jesus christ I would rather listen to kroq than this shit. Fuck this. Lame white boy rapping done by a stroke victim. If you told me that Tim Armstrong had a stroke and the entire left side of his face was paralyzed I would not be surprised. Why would I listen to fat white boys rapping about kicking my ass, when I can listen to mediocre fat black guys rapping about kicking my ass? If you like this band you should totally Kurt yourself. twat there's already a band with a song called white riot, they're called the clash, you may have heard about them. "I really liek the transplants so that would have been cool too bad some people are too punk to get it." yeah i was at this show, and that was a pretty good review, yeah that new avoid one thing song was the shit, and and i left before lagwagon too. It's one thing to gripe about this review because it's lacking in detail (which it is) but to give the guy shit because he didn't stay for a band he doesn't like is retarded. If you're willing to shell out the cash for a ticket just to see one band, then by all means do it. This review was posted so that fans of the bands he did see could get a run down on how they played. Notice how the show title in the box on the left there doesn't say Lagwagon? It's not like he tricked you into thinking you'd see a Lagwagon review and then dicked you over. I've walked out on bands I'm not a fan of before. Want to hear something that will REALLY piss you off? I went to a Less Than Jake/Bad Religion show, and walked out after LTJ! I don't particularly care for Bad Religion! Oh that's right, I went there. why do you say unfortunately you didnt stay for lagwagon, that makes no sense since you say your not a fan, it would be unfortunate if you were late and missed a band you wanted to see or if the band canceled, or you paid to see the transplants, not that you voluntarily skipped out. I don't know about the whole Lagwagon thing.. I saw them years ago in Montreal and was more disapointed than I've ever been for a live performance. Does anyone know the name of the ska/reggae tune by Avoid One Thing? uh the only band i can agree on is rise against cuz theyre the only ones i've seen from the list. but definitely - first time i saw them i was ready to hate them because they were hardcore, i was definitely surprised. very few bands i expect to hate seeing i end up buying their cd some time or another and going to see them again lagwagon live is one of the greatest things i've ever seen Just an observation. If you think you an label some one "mall punk" from a review: you dont understand what punk is. If you think you can label someone "mall punk" when you see what they wear you don't understand what punk is. If you think even for one damned second you can label someone "mall punk" for what they enjoy listening to then you don't know one god damned thing about punk. hypothetically: if the sex pistols, the clash and the ramones played and good charlotte closed would you bitch at him for leaving early and not reviewing that half assed punch of pussies? Who fucking cares? I was at this show and it rocked. i was at this show and im shocked that you had such little to say about it... you are a dumbass for not staying the whole show and THEN posting this review. So what if someone else said Lagwagon played good....let them write thier own fuckin review. I would rather read that one anyways....at least they stayed for the whole show. i said hes a dumbass because i understand that he left, but he posted a review on it... if you don stay for the whole show, why write a review on it? its kinda just common sense... ok the disasters and AOT rule,THE TRANSPLANTS SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK ,u might think travis barker (hes a good drum, but blink sucks ass) and tim armstrong(a god) woulkd be like good, but their tryin to be new and inventicve,if it aint broke dont fix it and hip hop sucks i dont know what u ppl are bitching about, i think it was a good review. got right to the point and never ran on about shit no one cares about. keep up the good work guy the forgotten as a whole are cool. Single collection out may 20 The transplants just don't do it for me, would've been cool to see all those people in one place. The dude from the Forgotten is cool. i saw this show at the Avalon in boston and i was wishing i didn't stay for lagwagon. I have two of their albums and they're not bad, but they got boring fast live. "Wouldn't it be nice if the reviewers on the site were: "your a dumbass for leaving early then actually posting a review on this show..." Reading about Lagwagon would have been great fun as far as reviews go, but he left out this band. So what? For the reviewer, the show was the Transplants, Roger Miret, and Avoid One Thing. He didn't only review part of the show. He reviewed the show he went to. Three bands is plenty enough, especially when you go home seeing the band you came to see. Let it go, it was a review that told a story of a show. Lagawgon is a lame live band with unfunny antics. Saw them 'headlining' a tour with the Vandals (what a crime) and I wished I had walked out after seeing the vandals. The 1 is for lagwagon. your a dumbass for leaving early then actually posting a review on this show... sounds like a cool show. I've been waiting for the Transplants to announce a real national tour for awhile I'd rather watch lagwagon than the disasters but yeah. I really liek the transplants so that would have been cool too bad some people are too punk to get it. I had a chance to go to this show, but I can't stand the transplants. They are just too annoying. If I did go, I would be pumping Wu-Tang - "36 Chambers" in my CD player then go back to see Lagwagon. how in the hell did you go to this show for transplants and NOT lagwagon? lagwagon is one of the best live bands i've seen, while the transplants are - well i've never seen them live but let's say its an experience i'm sure willing to pass up on I wanna know the point of someone reviewing part of the show, but not the whole thing. as much as i would've loved to hear about lagwagon's set (the best band there in my opinion), i'm not gonna bitch about how the reviewer didn't stay for that set. please people, don't bitch about this aspect on the boards, cuz i know its coming. good review considering tho. Wouldn't it be nice if the reviewers on the site were: what skarhead song did the transplants cover? that would be very interesting to hear... |
