In a world of broadband and mp3's, small bands have become much more accessable to the public than in the past. Parkview has not toured America and they haven't played with any "big" bands, but they are enjoying the success of the techno-age. Not to say that any gawkish, commonplace band can become successful via mp3.com; it takes true talent to accomplish such a feat. Please login or register to post comments. I saw these guys at the 5 Days Ahead release show back in december and was completely amazed that who i saw performing had created these songs. They just rock that much... Kind of sound like Bombs over providence All I can say what a week for great music, I hadn't heard these guys before but they fucking rock. This is tough to fit into all the listening with all the albums that came out today. Plus Saosin {which has the ex drummer of Slayer} rips. I can't stop listening to them. These guys are really great. Ive seen em play a bunch of local shows. If you get the chance to see them, dont miss it. their singer has two other bands too. one is called "falling from the sky" which is an acoustic thing, and he has another band called "strike fire fall" which was his side project up at school (a good friend of mine was the bassist). both are really good and can be found on mp3.com. check all 3 of these bands out. this is better than a lot of the shit i've listened to today. first |
