Warped Tour 2003live in Atlanta (2003)Warped Tour Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Ryan Newton (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on July 25th 2003
My friend and I pulled into the soaking wet "parking lot" (underwater cow pasture) at HiFi Buys Amphitheater at 11:00. By 11:45 we had made out way through security and jotted down all of the set times. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
That's funny, except I rarely listen to Poison the Well and I don't listen to FATA at all. "Kung Fu dancing to music that goes blah yaya muhhaahhh!" "Kung Fu dancing to music that goes blah yaya muhhaahhh!" Good review overall. STUN is the most amazing live band............the singer kept on jumping on the security gaurds shoulders hear in Miami....most energetic band i have ever seen "Kung Fu dancing to music that goes blah yaya muhhaahhh!" PTW, Thrice, LTJ, FFAF I'm waiting for the day all the punks beat the shit out of all the "underground" hardcore bad ass wannabes at a Warped date. Kung Fu dancing to music that goes blah yaya muhhaahhh! You put down all of the punk bands and their fans so now I put down you. See you in Buffalo i saw face to face, they put on a great show as always. rise against was very good too, its a shame they arent on the main stage. well maybe its not actually, but they were good. all in all for me warped tour didnt have any awesome bands but there were maybe 6 or 7 i would have bought a cd from by the end of it, very solid for my tastes at least Rise Against did not play in Atlanta, because they are not playing until the tour heads up the east coast, so that may be a good reason why no one is watching them. "Aren't any of you weiners watching Rise Against? " Suicide Machines were amazing, but goddamn brand new just blew me away. Hell even their 13 year old new fans were cool. They kept screaming for Matchbook Romance to stop playing so brand new could play longer. Heh it was great. Also Phanamanots were kick ass. Anyone one can needs to check these guys out. Stay away from the bigger names and youll catch some amaing up and comers. ok , the whole braveheart thing is getting pretty lame. Everyband does that now. Best show of the summer=Hellfest or maybe seeing TERROR play with Norma Jean and Stretch Armstrong in August. nobody gives a flying fuck about your attempts to get on stage. "Thrice began playing on the other stage, so we all started the Let's Go Murphys! chant 2 or 3 times." The suicide machines were good in 1997? Their still good, get your head outa your ass dude. there is only ONE band that is worthy of seeing this year, arrogant sons of bicthes fuck they rule! Wow way to watch all the worst bands. Suicide Machines were good, in 1997! i didn't get to see Nor Am I. i didn't know when they were playing. i love that band so much though. Glassjaw tore shit up in Atlanta, as did Thrice. I don't like Matchbook on their recordings, but they were easily one of the most energetic bands there. Did anyone catch the local band Nor Am I ?...I've seen them several times before and they were even better at Warped. Oh, and Rise Against didn't play in Atlanta, that's why noone was watching them. Wow way to watch all the worst bands. Suicide Machines were good, in 1997! Wow way to watch all the worst bands. Suicide Machines were good, in 1997! I really want to see the suicide machines play the new material live. Fuck man. My friend who went told me about the 'Braveheart' deal and i was so pissed i missed it! yea, i saw that on the warped tour site. i might be coming to the one in jersey because i have friends up there. so if the blood brothers do happen to play that would be amazing. but i'd trust their site more than any other. hmm, says on warpedtour.com that they are according to the blood brothers website they will never play warped tour. has anyone seen: FATA, Face to Face, Glassjaw, Amospehere.. if you have please tell me how they were i saw them last night in atlanta @ the MJQ concourse. It was fucking amazing. If anyone has ever seen their DVD you at least have a clue of what they are like. Someone needs to review their DVD on here yes they are I can't wait until the Asbury Park show (the final tour date!). Rise Against aren't pretty enough. | Features
