Sex Pistols / Dropkick Murphys / Reverend Horton HeatSex Pistols/Dropkick Murphys/Reverend Horton Heat: live in Torontolive in Toronto (2003)Sex Pistols Reviewer Rating: 4 Contributed by: adamAdam (others by this writer | submit your own) First of all, I quite liked the promotion (or lack thereof) for this tour. The word "reunion" was not used and the band had no new release to support. A bewildering ticket price at some US venues aside, this was pretty much a tour that those who cared to see the band. The lack of hype (and I'm.

deserved much) kept people's expectations realistic. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
I get that a lot too. People always think I'm older (online and in person) becuase I listen to and know a lot about the older punk. "EMI isn't an anti record industry rant" "These Pistols reviews are all really good. The oldies can write" EMI isn't an anti record industry rant, it's the story of their dealings with the label EMI. i was at this show.. very front row.. it was nuts! i'm very glad i went.. good review.. Oh well. At least you had fun. "Why a few crustys felt the need to revive the idiotic "gobbing" trend I’ll never know." the tickets here(detroit) were like...30...which isnt too bad...but the show got cancled. yeah i really wanted to see this but where im from the tickets were 60 fucking dollars!!! Yeah... those US prices are a crime. For the record my ticket to this show cost 35 dollars Canadian (about 25 US) and I believe that was the most expensive ticket-price for the show. I'd love to get to see this tour but $65.50? I don't think it's worth it. Damn, sounded like a good time. In all the interviews I've read of his, Lydon has never seemed to lose his edge. Still thinking about treking down to San Diego for the show--if the Pistols are disappointing, then at least I'll still get to see Bad Relgion, Wilco, and MACY FUCKING GRAY! |
