Saturday night at the House of Blues Chicago- Reggie and the Full Effect, Midtown, My Chemical Romance, and Moneen. Needless to say this was an energetic crowd, consisting of mainly younger kids in the prime of their high school years. Although I am only 19, I felt like I was on the older end of the crowd. Rollerblades is part of full British attire now?! I am wayyy too lazy to write a review for this so I will just post it in here. I was at the last show for the Reggie/Midtown/Moneen/MCR tour, and it was just a free for all. seriously. ha, thats all i have to say to that emo-core, post rock, or whatever the fuck it's being called these days. basically ska's heir apparent, mr. rx-bandits.com "krispy kremes are ridiculously bad for you." what genre would that be, crap? for the genre ya, mcr is pretty decent. i mean, they're no Senses Fail or anything....but really, it's decent. their song structure isn't the greatest. most of them could use some trimming. way to long to hold your attention. i don't listen to their album too much, but they put on a great show. krispy kremes are ridiculously bad for you. their writing is actually surprisingly competent considering their genre the reviewer failed to mention that the three new songs midtown played were the best songs they've ever done. for some reason i cant get into reggie either so the reviewer is not alone Since when does falling on your ass make you amazing... Ok first off, moneen got 4 songs becuase they started like 15 minutes late. for all you mutherfuckers raving about krispee kremes, IN CASE YOur BLIND, THERE JUST DONUTS! PLAIN REGULAR DONUTS, and there the same KIND AT DUNKIN DONUTS, GET OVER IT Isn't Reggie's 15 minutes up already? Man, I would've thought for sure Under The Tray would've finally put the nail in the coffin, and people wouldn't cough up $15 for an album filled with mostly horrible jokes and 7 or 8 two minute songs. You know what fucking rocks? why doesn't sean ingram bring back coalesce??? he could still wear the bear suit. ok, this show really wouldn't be that bad if mcr opened with 4 songs, and then moneen played all songs from both albums (and the ep), then, that would be a show worth going to. moneen shouldn't have to stoop to opening for midtown who are themselves open for reggie... this is dumb. How DARE you confuse Sean Ingram with the shitfuck from MCR. Um, the guy in the bear suit was not the guy from MCR. It was actually Sean Ingram, from Coalesce. Um, the guy in the bear suit was not the guy from MCR. It was actually Sean Ingram, from Coalesce. Now who the hell compares Moneen to Taking Back Sunday? The reviewer should get a clue.. Rule #1: Don't be that guy. Yay for "Good Mourning". Haven't taken that thing out of my car for the last 3 weeks. Alkaline Trio sound like the best band all night 'I have to say, I don’t think I have ever been to a show where I have seen so many kids wearing the shirt of a band playing as I did that night with My Chemical Romance' moneen should have been given MCR's time. then they could have a longer set. and it was probably sean ingram in the hungry bear suit. Moneen gets 4 songs while My Shitty Romance gets a full set? Fuck that shit. you sure that wasnt Sean Ingram dressed up as Hungry Bear? At least I was under the impression he was doing the whole Reggie tour. Best live band...Reggie. 4 Moneen songs??? thats bullshiiiit. altough all their songs are about 6 minutes long so i guess its not that bad. |
