Can't beat the Warped Tour. Nothing like spending a day at Warped getting soaked by security hoses and listening to your favorite bands. There's only 1 thing that can top an experience such as this, which is sitting on your couch watching the Warped Tour. But if you really miss the security hoses, dump a bottle of water on yourself every now and then when you watch it. Please login or register to post comments. Awful review. The term is Review not Opinion. No one cares that you don't care for RBF or the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, everytime I have seen both bands play, they tear it up. Worst...review...ever. thee warped tour is the best thing ever!!!! u should check this out if ur a real punk. i swear u wont be dissapointed!! How come nobody has mentioned Lagwagon?? They played the whole tour and they are listed on the cover, what did they do in this DVD??? How come nobody has mentioned Lagwagon?? They played the whole tour and they are listed on the cover, what did they do in this DVD??? The "one" is for the actual 2002 Tour. What a pile of shit that was! Absolute worst Warped ever! Yeah, he uses the words, but he's not homophobic......he's made quite a few songs in which he was bashing homophobes actually. And Body Count is fucking punk rock....the whinneyt poppy emo shit on this tour can't even be considered pop rock...let alone pop punk. The Beatles were a pop rock band, these bands are just candy coated crap. The only real "punk" bands that I can remember from this tour were Body Count, Pennywise, and...well, thats about it. Wait, I was at the SF Warped Tour and saw Jello and Body Count, I don't remember alot of boos, infact from where I was standing, I only heard applause for Jello... Warped Tour is NOT a tour which brings punks. If I recall Body Count and Jello Biafra (two bands/people that are more punk rock than any other bands on this years warped) were booed by the audience after condemning Bush's war on Iraq. If only Ice T could have napalmed the fucking whole crowd. Some humans are so utterly stupid they shouldn't be alive...particularly in America. Anyway, my point is that the Warped Tour is dead and punk has only a few flames of hope. I would have gone to Warped just to see Body Count if I had known they were gonna be there. Amen, The Bronx, the Unseen and a few scattered others maybe the only hope hardcore punk rock has left. thats where i got it from,a dead kennedys song from bedtime. wow another stale cartoon is not only a satanic surfers song but also a dead kennedys quote. extra punk points for you! First off, you suck at reviewing and life, please quit both. "punks not dead it just deserves to die when it becomes another stale cartoon" bigwig rocked the main stage in montreal in 2001 harder than any other band. fucking awful.... i agree - shitty review. and to think you haven't even seen the whole thing. ozma kicks ass and they did at that show (i was at the vancouver one). I was just bummed that they didn't tape the smaller stage that thursday played on. don't write reviews anymore. i can't believe that i wasted my time reading that shit. personally warped tour is a rip off a bunch of "big" bands playing to a bunch of high schoolers ONE concert truely sucks. most times the local talent is better than the main stage acts. MH kicked ass BTW "Something Corporate is up first, giving a God awful performance that can only be enjoyed by the mentally retarded." This sucks ass and so does Bald Religion......... Morgan Heritage don't belong on the warped tour?? well who exactly belongs on the warped tour? cuz i thought that good bands and shitty bands from all genres have been on the warped tour since the beginning. MH was one of the better acts that year. douche bag. "just click either title or menu on your remote(cant remember which one)" Uhh there is a title menu. It goes right into the show but just click either title or menu on your remote(cant remember which one)and then you get a menu with longer uncut interviews, shopping for supplies for the bbq with wanted dead. A little video for each city and tons more. Before you review it, you should probably watch the whole thing. What a surprise. A crappy DVD reviewed by a crappy reviewer. You're a fucking dipshit pal. the punk rock summer camp DVD is better. jesus fuck, proof read this shit! umm.....ozma rocks my tiny little world. I think im in love with star wick..... Im sure this dvd is great. New found glory and good charlotte make it worth the money and most likely steal the stage. Benji Madden is soooooo punk. OMG......And who doesnt want to hear Michael moore's bitch fat mike spread worthless teenage propaganda to a bunch of hosers from the tundra. I love watching this back to back with the drive through dvd. It makes me spurt. Warped has slowly become a maochary of punk rock rather than a punk rock festival. Warped is dead and has been for a couple years. All they have are flavors of the month, weak emo/pop shit, fake hardcore with shitty weak screams, and a few great headlining bands (I.E. Bad Religion). They have marine tents on the tour now for fuckssake....I would figure at a real punk show that tent no its members would leave alive. The pit is suitable for pre-teens and so is most of the music. Plus it is sponsered by big name corporations who try to be "punk rock" (I.E. Vans). They seem to have the same headliners every other year, most of which are great but how many times have I seen Bad Religion? (12 thus far) or Pennywise? (8 thus far). The political aspect of it has been tamed and it just isnt any fun....sheesd...im done venting. For such a good review of the DVD as a whole, you sure seemed to dislike a lot of the bands. And unless they were dressed up for some reason, Ozma doesn't have a "hair metal guitarist" or a "curly-haired Abercrombie guy" in the band. |
