even though i still like them i must agree with you New Direxion went from a pretty good ska band to a shitty pop-punk band with minimal horn use. DON'T DENY IT EITHER, BUDDY. botar are something else. c22 shows are always enjoyable for me. im anxious about the new one. Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution >>>>> Catch 22 I don't care what people say, Catch 22 is still a great live band. Oh yeah, and the sweatshirt has an Aus Rotten logo on it. Yeah...not that it matters, but maybe! Hey I was wearing a black sweatshirt with a bunch of patches on it - GBH, Partisans, Lower Class Brats, UK Subs...ooh, actually I had to review it and photograph it, so yeah I was kinda up front with a camera. Yeah, I don't remember seeing anyone in an Autopilot off shirt...well, there was so many people there anyway... janelle, i went to the farmingdale show... i was wearing an autopilot off shirt with a skull&crossbones and a grey shirt over it... what were you wearing, maybe i saw you either catch22 has gone downhill, or i've grown out of it... i'm not too sure. it just seems that every time i see them, i get exponentially more bored, and their music just doesn't do it for me anymore. Shit, I forgot to add in how much I hate Boys Night Out. They fucking blow. And yes, making this comment was necessary. Fucking "emocore" fucks. Seeing these guys both dates in Michigan... I'm really looking forward to seeing Worthless United again, they fucking rock. Catch 22 is a classic favorite of mine, and no matter how many times they fuck up, I still love em. Good to hear they aren't playing all their songs at 10x speed anymore though. c22 have always been one of my fav's but why make a live show boring by playing 6 new songs. yes i would like to hear whats coming out but you go to a show to sing along too. That is a very good review. It's good to see they aren't playing every keasbey nights era song way to fast. And the descriptions of the new songs makes em sound pretty good. I'm definitely looking forward to this tour. I saw this last night in Farmingdale - Catch 22 was really impressive. Their new songs sound good...and the other highlight was Worthless United...but the kids went nuts for The Goodwill it was funny. Catch 22 speed up EVERY keaseby song. Especially 1234 and Giving Up, Giving In to the point where they are totally unenjoyable. "I've seen BNO a shit load of times and never seen them play "Yeah,No...I know". " wow. Thanks for the review. It's sort of weird to hear that they're already playing so many new songs but hopefully they'll do a lot of older ones when I see them in a few weeks. am i the only one who likes both old and new catch22? why is everyone so down on this band, i think there fine you guys prolly already know this, but streetlight manifesto is the old lead singers new band and they're soo good nahh, i saw them.. and they speeded up all their Keasby Nights songs to the point where they sucked.... oh well good to hear that catch 22 stopped speeding up all their songs to insane speeds. i think alot of people confuse keasby nights with the current catch 22....the current catch 22 is comparable to alone in a crowd and comparable to washed up but not comparable to keasby nights since the songwriting elements were extremely different on keasby. I wish they would stop playing songs from keasby nights. |
