We arrived at around 6:50 or 7 o'clock and the first band, Bear vs. Shark, was already at the final two songs of their set. I had heard a couple songs by them before and was pretty eager to see what they had to offer, having enjoyed all the material I heard. Bear Vs. Shark gets into their music, at they rock out pretty well. They rarely made mistakes, and their live show sounds just as good as their recorded material. I like their singer. Very solid two songs. I wish I had seen more. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
hopesfall= fucking great live. "end of an era" is one great opener. ...could someone explain tatecore? Hopesfall are tatecore? I must be taking less notice than before... "Sir, you're under citizen's arrest for third-degree murder of a joke. one is unacceptable. This review was good, but here's how I would make it better: holy shit i'm going to see hopesfall on saturday in detroit (well pontiac actually), im really excited. anyone else going to that show? Just go to the website and you'll see that quote in the middle of the page. this band is the reason i'm still breathing. god damn man......bear cs shark..hey mercedes...in one place...i would kill for this show to come to miami i was at this show. bear vs. shark were definitely entertaining to say they least. i liked when the singer climbed up on the keyboard and just laid it and kicked the keys. pretty crazy. i thought haste came off as really generic. they just weren't believable. the bass player looked like he was about 35 w/ a ponytail, and then the guitarist on the right looked he should have been playing in john mayer's band. they were just sort of strange. hey mercedes was good. i've seen them before, and it's always the same: there's a few songs that really grab me, but between those songs it all blurs together and seems repetitive. hopesfall rocked out. they were great. they put on such a good show. the new song was great. highlights for me were "dana walker" and "the bending," and i loved the fact that they started with "end of an era." great set. people just think they are automatically cool for using that word. i assume thats why it is thrown around so much. Sir, you're under citizen's arrest for third-degree murder of a joke. this band is the reason i'm still breathing. Wait, you went to a Hopesfall show and didn't rip off all their gear? Is that even allowed? How did Hopesfall even play? Bahahahahahahaha.... |
