I didn't know what to think of this band at first. From what others had told me and the impression I had gotten from the name, I was expecting something really hardcore with nothing but screaming in the veins of Poison The Well. So I was a little hesitant about just up and buying this album and asked to give it a spin and boy was I surprised. This album is more along the lines of Alexisonfire, with a tintillating mixture of screaming, melodic riffs, singing, and heavy hardcore riffs. This album was recorded in Vancouver with Jesse Gander at the helm who has been keeping himself busy recording many up and coming Vancouver and area bands, and doing a bang-up job as well. This is quite possibly his best work to date. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
like anyone is gonna read this but whatever. this shit has been out for almost 2 years and i still listen to it every single day. it will never get boring. its my all time favorite album. seriosly if they hadn't broken up they would be a mother fucking household name. like anyone is gonna read this but whatever. this shit has been out for almost 2 years and i still listen to it every single day. it will never get boring. its my all time favorite album. seriosly if they hadn't broken up they would be a mother fucking household name. i have never heard this band, but i must say, i like the name. fuck aall yall, this album rules, and so do the people behind the music are just as choice, watch your manners assholes. baaad generic crap...and their singer has no stage presence whatsoever. Poison The Well is probably a direct influence for Alexisonfire, (who really does suck). They play the same style of shit. A different sounding vocalist and make of guitar doesn't mean you're playing a new style of music. It usually means you're ripping off something that has been done much better. cancel this band, Alexisonfire fucking sucks. In other words their songs still have the feel of a screamo band with the constant change of melodies and heavy guitars and screaming, but add a twinge of rock in that alternative flavor. It's a new recipe that not too many bands are trying. yeah, sorry about that. when i write i don't really think about that. plus i write them for another website, and it doesn't look quite so menacing on there. you can check that out at punkcanada.net if you want. That review format "hit me" like a brick wall. "The intro riff to Lets End This Here will hit you as punk, but these five boys from Vancouver hit you right away with the good stuff. The beats hit you hard on this one and then they throw you to the floor with an abrupt breakdown." wow, someone called an End This Week With Knives album a masterpiece. first and this kinda music sucks though |
