Pop-punk veterans Horace Pinker released this teaser EP just around a year ago, so I apologize for a review of it coming so late. Wait...the full-length isn't out yet? Oh, nevermind then. Actually, these songs were originally labeled as alternate versions of songs on a following full-length. The idea is apparently scratched however, now that an upcoming 'discography' of B-sides and rarities is in the works. Please login or register to post comments. Copper Regret and Pop Culture were amazing journies into the inner void of the soundscape sanctum. Uh, they were good, catchy records. The guitar playing was sweeeeet. These guys would gain more attention if they changed their name to Horse Porker. i read that article too, he left for school, don't talk mindless shit. the new full length is still coming out, albeit after a long delay Or, if you prefer: medio-core. I read in Punk Planet that Chris denied that and said he left the band because he was too busy with school. It's a shame how under-rated this band is considering the kind of crap that's popular right now. I read that Chris left because all Horace Pinker wanted was to put "featuring a member of Jawbreaker" stickers on their records. It makes sense to me, since HP has always been astonishingly mediocre. Or, if you prefer: medio-core. I won't lie, I never really liked this band but just had an interest because of Chris. Upon his departure I realized that this band has become void to me. top bottom. |
