I've been a fan of Lagwagon for some time now and when I saw that people were reviewing other Lagwagon albums I felt like I had to review a Lagwagon album too before there weren't any left to review.

The album starts off with "After you my friend" which is an instant classic and by far the best track on the album. The thing I've always admired Lagwagon for is the way they can mix a superfast song with lyrics and harmonies that make it sound... beautiful (?) (I know that sounded kinda wierd but that's how I see it)

The album changes between fast and mid-tempo songs. Every song here is great and the album is very melodic. The album is very different than Trashed and Duh. It's softer but I would still say that it's just as good. I just really want Derrick back because he's a better drummer!!!

One bad thing about this album is that it runs a little short at only 25:27 min. but since all the songs rule I'm able to forgive them.

One final thing. I want to ask You (yes YOU) if that story about the concert in Brazil is true? I guess it could have been because they had some fight or something. I mean they've always had a rep as a band that has a lot of fights. I dunno.

Oh, buy this album. You won't be sorry.

This is one of my favorite band (with offspring before rage and grace etc...dick) and i can say this album is a good piece of work. For those who just knew may 16th, there's like an ''intro song'' just before (acoustic song) called ''the kids are all wrong'' which is really good

The first Lagwagon album I bought, and still my favourite. May 16th is possibly my favourite song of theirs. Probably the best melodic punk album I have ever heard.

Fabulous album! Lagwagon are my 3rd fav band behind The Wildhearts and Strung Out.

I love May 16 and Owen Meaney, but every song is great. Fast, melodic, great guitars, great tunes.... superb.

This is my very first Lagwagon cd, and since then I have gotten the entire collection with them rapidly becoming one of my favorite bands, and this cd is the greatest of the collection. I can't wait to see these guys live.

Have you ever heard the advanced promo copy of this album? Originally this album was meant to be some kind of concept album. For some reason the major part of that story (about a guy named Ricky) that was inbetween the songs has been left off the album. I once asked Joey about this, but I can´t remember what his answer was...

"I must have been a mistake." Haha.

Anyway, yes, this CD is very good. It's relaxing pop-punk. The whole thing just feels very smooth and calming. Some of it's fast, some of it's mid-tempo, and it's a lot different than the Lagwagon of Duh and Trashed, but it's a great change. Definitely get this if you like any pop-punk at all.
