There's good bands on the 2003 edition of the Warped Tour that made this DVD [Glassjaw, Andrew WK, Suicide Machines]. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
These bands sucked... That trailer made me laugh. SUMMMMMMEEERRRR OOOFFF PUUNNNKKK RRRAAAWWWKKKKK! the weakerthans are amazing. you can eat shit and go listen to your simple plan. How the hell have Brand New not made this DVD. Is is so difficult to type the word "are"? Remember when the Warped Tour had good bands? I love Mest but i also like jawbreaker. This score is for HellFest "mad caddies r so terrible.how could anyone ever actaully spend money 4 anything 2 do w/ them.i agree there r many other face 2 face songs id rather see than youve done mad caddies r so terrible.how could anyone ever actaully spend money 4 anything 2 do w/ them.i agree there r many other face 2 face songs id rather see than youve done nothing. it's really sad that lollapalooza was cancelled, but realistically The Flaming Lips and Morrisey don't draw the way Audioslave and Incubus do. This score is for Scott. I can't believe that you put The Caddies need to hang it up. Are you still holding a grudge because of what everybody said about your review of Just One More? The Caddies best selling album and best reviewed album yet? My gawd Scott be a professional. Put your grudge aside and don't blast a band because somethings were said about your review in an interview. If it was time for the band to call it quits I would understand, but they have been only increasing in popularity, so that comment is not justified. Please respond Scott!!!! yea, to the guy below me, you are right. the only reason warepd tour is successful is because they sprinkle the roster w/ a few good charlottes, simple plans and yellowcards. its the only way to ensure good sales. a bunch of bouncing souls and suicide machines level bands would sink warped tour fast, unfortunately. Well, yea...Lollapalooza may have had a good line-up, but Perry Farrel and the rest of the people organizing that shit apparently forgot that none of those bands play ampitheatres. It's one thing to put together a good tour. It's another thing to put together a successful one that has an act that can actually draw thousands and thousands of people... Mad Caddies should not "hang it up", they may not be the best punk band around but they have great fucking energy at their live show, they rocked Victoria BC and we smoked a big joint with them backstage, good times. According to an old Kung Fu news post, the performances were filmed in Ventura, San Diego and Long Beach. The company that produced the 2002 DVD is now bankrupt. Stupid canucks! Does anyone know what city they filmed for the DVD? Is it like the 2002 DVD where everything was pretty much in Vancouver, or are there multiple cities? yes, lollopalooza was cancelled. Does that mean the sale of sandals and khaki shorts are down? argh. this score is for the caddies. anyone who thinks they should give it up are fools. This score is for implying AWK makes good music. i had gone to warped every year since 1998 until i skipped 2003. by the looks of this dvd, i didn't miss much If this isnt as shitty as the rest of the stuff on kung fu i might buy it. mest ? the show must be turned off. "The Mad Caddies' version of "Road Rash" is completely phoned in, too; that band needs to hang it up." this is pretty good. like scott said, its all how many bands you like on the track listing on the back. some of the song choices are questionable. "youve done nothing" by face to face comes to mind. god i would rather hear about 15 other songs mroe than that (its a clasic song but cmon). no me first is gay. the avenged sevenfold performance is good, awk is good, suicide machines etc. "i dont like music dvd's. you watch them once and then what, let it collect dust?" The Wearthans are the ones who need to hang it up. I think I saw their latest video on Country Music Television. TheScott, are you smoking crack? Mad Caddies are great, they do not need to hang it up. Seeing how The Suicide Machines are my favorite band, I'm probably just gonna buy this lump of shit for them. i dont like music dvd's. you watch them once and then what, let it collect dust? | Features
