Blah blah blah. Whine whine whine. Why can't bands just stop their silly blubbering mouths for just one or two albums these days? It's not music. It's bland regurgitation. Ever song is about broken hearts or lost loves or missed chances. Well, lemme tell you one thing. I DON'T CARE. I've had my share of heartbreak and I didn't go out and write a shitty album. Seriously. So, ladies and gentlemen, I have one bit of advice for you. The next time you're down in the dumps and feel like, "Hey, maybe I should write music," go drink or smoke or shoot-up or snort yourself into oblivion. When you regain consciousness, any inclination you had for writing shitty, whiny "emo" music will be replaced by a sudden urge to sync-up "Dark Side of the Moon" with "The Wizard of Oz." Seriously. Haha, I havent heard either of these bands yet, and I really dont care if they ARE good. Jesse, best fucking review ever! minus 10 cause i dont know any of these groups this band was played at a local show in philly before. they come up to me and my friends and said they had no money to get home. we asked what kind of music it was, and he said hardcore punk. so 4 of us bought it and well, they sucked. This is for the title...any true southerner knows the correct word choice would be" Tennesse aint that far away"...Kudos True, but it still comes off to me as more of an insult. I think the point he was trying to make is that you'd shake things up nicely at AP.net. The thing is, the mall-punk shitcocks over AP.net would eat this up. So you saying that I should write for them is a contradictory statement. I would've accepted, "You should write for Pitchfork," or "You should write for Buddyhead," since both are very critical zines that tend to make fun of bands in their reviews. Nope, you lose. For whatever reason, the website likes to delete plus signs from stuff. I had to re-add it manually, thanks for pointing it out. I guess there's supposed to be a plus sign in reason (2). you know what i learned? YOU SHOULD BE WRITING FOR AP.NET. |
