I recently noticed that, while there are several Discount album reviews on this site, no one had taken the initiative to write one for what is perhaps the crowning achievement of the band's legacy: their 1997 sophomore album Half Fiction. Awesome album. "Clap & Cough" is one of those songs I could listen to all day (and I have). Good stuff, indeed. This is definitely my favourite Discount release. This could possibly be the greatest pop-punk album ever released. I can not believe how good every single second of this album is. i know a guy that says he drummed for this band....yet i dont see him on the discount site or in any of the pics Great album. Oddly, I like the Kills way more than I ever liked Discount. i love this record! i got into discount about 2 years ago after inadvertantly seeing the kills at a local club. I've so far onlyh heard Crash Diagnostic, and have listened to it like a bajillion times. I will probably pick up this one now as well Killer record, tied with Crash Diagnostic as their best. Great band. What a coincidence I just started listening to them recently and here comes a review of the album with the tracks I've been listening to. Great record, great band. |
