I’ve been meaning to get this record for awhile now - being a fan of both Frodus (Jason Hammacher – drums, Shelby Cinca - guitar/vocals) and of course Fugazi (Joe Lally – bass) I knew this record would be a huge surprise or an incredible let down. Thankfully, it’s the former!

this record has great and average moments, but the videos are both brilliant. the video for delete false culture rocks is spazzy, but in a good way. it's all over the place visually, but that's what makes it great. I saw them at Plea for Peace too. It looks like some of the footage from the new video for Delete False Culture was shot there. It sure looks like the 930 club to me, although I don't remember seeing a crew there. the video is completely bizzarre, a way to induce epilepsy I think. I liked the storyline of the first video more. Buy this CD now, it is a must for any ones collection! Great review. I love Frodus and I like Black Sea (or whatever they're called now) so I'm gonna have to check this out like a biatch ... and believe me, I'm a biatch. I thought this CD was average. It was like they had one really good song being played over and over. This band needs to start playing out again, so amazing live and the record is great as well. Great record! The Black Sea EP was amazing. The song writing on this record could really use the old Frodus bass player again. Hit and miss. overhyped. This is a great fucking record. anyone know who recorded this? Just curious. They were pretty zany at plea for peace. I love these guys. Go to http://www.decahedron.net to see their music videos for free. lets fucking hope so. these guys are WAY better live. i saw them open for q and not u 2 weeks before the album came out and they stole the show. then when i picked up the album i felt it was a letdown. it is about time this got reviewed. this is what rock and roll is meant to be. and god how i love lovitt and almost any band that is on their roster. my lazy ass has been meaning to get this. I loved these guys when I saw them on Plea For Peace. Good record. |
