Fall Out Boy sold out this show about a month and a half in advance, and I should not have been surprised that come doors, the line stretched around the Metro to the point where you could see the front of the line from the back, through the bar and next to the Metro.

Hey everyone, I saw them at the concert and really like them, so for all of you that like Gym Class Hereos, check out their video premiere at www.mtvu.com and also check out them on the hot seat at http://www.mtvu.com/music/the_hot_seat/ . im like so glad you dudes live in chicago i live in chicago in darien im olivia and i love you guys mostly patrick stump. what is it with pop punk bands and cursing live? i mean i dont care about swearing but it sounds funny when someone says "fuck" every other word. i saw the starting line once (not the band i was there for, believe me) and they did the same thing. a sailboat is a schooner dummy. midtown's new album sucks, but i'll believe you that their live show is still fun/tight. i saw them enough prior to their new shitty album to have skipped their last few shows. 'living well' is sucha great pop punk album. the new one is like shitty jimmy eat world or something. i own this cd. i even enjoy some of the songs, but its not fucking original. just because you like it, that doesnt make it orginal. If you want Indie and Hip Hop combined, look into the Go Team. FYI: It's a sailboat, not a schooner. Fuck Gym Class Heroes. That is not hip-hop. It's a pathetic attempt to mix "indie" with hip-hop. Same with Mel Gibson and the Pants. It's all shit. It will never hold a candle to Wu-Tang. " Is it just me or have Midtown somehow managed to get increasingly worse? the academy is a pop punk band with uninspiring lyrics and hooks that have been done a million times before. as a wise man once said, congradulations. you're mediocre. Screw you all. The Acedemy Is was the best band at the Motion City show. Motion City, whop, by the way, is one of the most overrated bands. I left. Thats how boring they were. ...and Fall Out Boy is going to blow the fuck UP in 2005. like it or not, they'll be MTV darlings come June. Midtown brings the rock?????????? Even back in their hayday they didnt bring the rock. They actually sucked very badly live. I'm not sure if it was on a tribute or not, but let us not forget their (FallOutBoy) destruction of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart." as a rule, tribute albums suck anyway...with or without fallout boy Is anyone else sick of Fall Out Boy ruining every single tribute album this side of the millenium? I mean seriously guys you aren't anywhere near the playing level of Jawbreaker or The Police so why embarass yourselves by trying and failing miserably? Thanks for making sure I can't enjoy tribute albums enough to purchase them anymore...assholes... The Gym Class Heroes make me happy... Gym Class Heroes are wasted on a tour like this. Here would be the jizz of all tours. Gym Class Heroes and Atmosphere playing 45 minute sets, Then Gym Class Heroes would back Cody Chestnutt for an hour of smooth lovin. Next, The Roots would come perform a short set and stay on to back the jurassic five. Then HOVA (jay z) would come out and perform with abe leborial playing bass and his son playing drums. Cody Chestnutt would play guitar and there would be some jazz cat playing the rhodes / organ. Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong would instantaneously appear and solo over a fat backbeat. And Fergie from Black Eyed Peas would be giving me all kind of dirty love backstage the entire time. Linkin park, Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, and Fat Mike would all be raped, pillaged and brutally murdered between sets while the crowd watched in adoration Brendan works at the Metro. that was great.. these guys might be the worst band ive ever heard You did a great job skipping The Academy Is, holy shit were they horrible when I saw them with Tsunami Bomb & Motion City Soundtrack. Fall Out Boy=Most overrated pu**ies to ever attempt pop-punk. Fans must be really desperate for something to grasp onto these days... score is for your taste in music. Gym Class Heroes sounds like the name of a pop punk band, but so many people have been talking about them, I think I need to give them a shot. IMMATURE! That's the word I was going for, thanks!
