Dayton, Ohio’s Simply Waiting seem to have a pretty standard emo sound at first glance. When the first track came on I was worried, because it sounded like some new Victory band. As the CD progressed, I realized that most of the songs are acoustic-based, and not in a Dashboard kind of way, or a tacked-on-afterthought-on-every-emo-CD kind of way. The acoustic guitar parts tend to be very intricate, almost deserving the term shredding at times. Skilled guitarists they are for sure.

omg guys! this is amber!!! the girl from the concert in Pittsburgh! (the one with the sharpies!) lol..... i miss you guys! ill see you on tour this summer with fish market! I've seen these guys live twice, and they are very entertaining. Most boring comment board ever! Boo. At least you got some of the characteristics right (musicianship, instumentation), your usually way off True, score's for You And I. Man, if they still had the read counter, it would probably be below 10 reads. Yay. Doesn't this band have any fans? You And I was a great band. |
