Yellow Second, despite the fact that they already have two releases under their belts, seem to be in the growing pains portion of their life as a band. While they may be maturing, they are still awkward and down right ugly at times.

What are you? Some kind of critic? (ha ha) Your description of Scott's voice is a little off-the-mark. He has great control, tone, and "reserved" strength. His voice matches the songs, of course, perfectly. The rest of the band is nothing less than rock-solid. The drumming, in particular, can't get much more authoritative. Their live shows, while needing a little more energy, are flawless reproductions of the albums. Lots of great bands in the studio; few great bands live. You need to check them out on their current tour. "Kerr’s voice is a strange forced whisper that sounds like he has just been punched in the gut but keeps on trying to speak anyway." The drummer used to be in Five Iron Frenzy and Scott Kerr was in Five Iron earlier in their career, but left in the late 90s werent' some of or at least one of these guys in five iron frenzy? | Features
