Tiger Army II, a good sequel to an even better first album, Power of Moonlite has the same feel as the Self Titled album but a few things are different. Notably, the pace, the first album I found was faster; a more "make you wanna dance it up" vibe, although a few songs defiantly fit that bill, for example "Incorporeal", and "Under Saturns Shadow". The one thing that I noticed right away that disappointed me was the clicking they had in every song. If you're a fan you know what I mean, I’ve never seen them live so I don't know for sure what it is, but you'll hear none of that in this album. Also They follow up the country twang of "Outlaw heart" with " In the Orchard" and they even threw on the song from Punk Fiction "F.T.W". All in all though, a great follow up to a great first release.

Tiger Army rules. This music touches the dark part of my soul and it is very emotional in a dark way. Musically it fits the mood perfctly and Nick 13's vocals are haunting as hell. "True Romance" from the first album is still my favorite, but this album has plenty of classics- most notably "Towards Destiny" and "When The Night Comes Down". Overall excellent and true to their form.

the singer sounds like he'a yodeling. The music is okay, but the lyrics suck and the singer sucks.

    My Score:

Not as good as the first one, but it was a good album. The "clicking" is the slapback from the standup bass. and if that was more prominent as it was in the first album the clicking noise would blend better

S/T is one of my favorite cds, so I won't compare it to this new one. I just got it Wednesday and it has yet to leave my cd player. Great cd that makes you want to dance, scream, sing, and fight all at the same time. I can't wait to see these guys live! If you are unsure, go pick up the first one. You won't be disapointed!

When I saw there was a band called Tiger Army (in an epitaph "Upcoming releases sheet) I thought "Wow.... What a stupid ass name. They probably suck..." I mostly decided to listen to them so I could see what shit sounded like. I pop the CD in the player and was immediately blown away. Their first one was one of the best CD's I heard that year. Even now, it still sounds fresh. This new one is great too. Not like the self titled one, but still great. The best song is FTW. I didn't give it full marks, because the country one is annoying. I like some country music (For instance, the country one on the Self Titled) but the way his voice goes really high makes me wonder if I should laugh or skip to the next track. Usually I choose the latter. Anyways, great CD. Check out the video if you get a chance.
