Wow. Supagroup was either too drunk to notice Spinal Tap was a joke or they just didn’t care. Either way, they fail to attain Spinal Tap’s humorous appeal as this album leads to more cringing than laughing. Rules is like a comedian who steals other comics’ routines and then butchers them. Quite simply, it is a batch of rock'n'roll trash.

Everything about this band just epitomizes cock rock. Song titles like “Let’s Go (Get Wasted),” “It Takes Balls,” and “Hog Wild,” along with album art that includes numchucks, skulls, cop cars and explosions should be enough to scare you off, but in case it isn’t, let me go on.

Supagroup sounds like they took songs that AC/DC threw away and then let some drunken biker who never finished high school write the lyrics. Maybe lines like “'Cause all you want to do is take your top off / All I want to do is blow the roof off / All you want to do is get your rocks off / All I want to do is rock your socks off,” “Tonight you put your big mouth to some good use / Open wide,” or “She was one bad mother / One hot sucker / Nobody knows that I totally fucked her,” appeal to some wife-beating redneck somewhere, but they just aren’t doing much for me.

Rules is a failed attempt at bringing back some “party hard” style rock. Instead, Supagroup comes off like a walking rock cliché packed full of testosterone and misogyny that needs to have its legs broken before it steps back into the studio.

SUPA GROUP is one of the best live bands I have ever seen,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just good ole fashioned rock and roll.
who cares if their lyrics are simple.........sometimes people forget that it's about the music and "sticking it to the man" and not theroies based on John Locke or Thoreau!

SupaGroup fuckin' ROCKS, bro! Is it that you don't enjoy fun rock? Something wrong with a band wanting to actually entertain and energize their listening audience? Give me a band who is FUN to watch and listen to over the serious rockers who stand on stage looking at their shoes. You clearly missed the point...

Wow, this reveiwer is quite the humorless moron. The vitriol must come from his deep seated virginity. In the effort to express his hatred for a band that actually seems to have fun he sold me on going out and buying the record. Thanks for writing out the lyrics for me, you dipshit, they're fucking hilarious! If the rest of them are half as good, I'll be happy!

Considering most of you boys and girls consider Lifetime cover bands "emo", I take no offense to your lame-brain comments (Not that I would even if you had a decent arguement whatsoever).

For the record, these guys (Supagroup) are horrendous.

LOL I rather listen to emo than this actually. i wont bash but the name of the band is really fucked up in my opinion. Anyways i dont think i will be buyin this any time soon.

I've seen these guys before, and albeit they're a major AC/Greasy rip off band, they have a couple of amazing guitarists who rock.

Supagroup is 100X better than any emo wankery.

I think these guys are from my hometown of New Orleans. They've been doing this for a long time now. Happy to see them getting national attention (even if it's a negative review like this).
