If you don't know this band you are truly missing something. The immense energy these 5 Swedish people put in their music is trult unbelievable. they kinda fell off pretty fast huh? I for one am glad because seeing teenage girls who like shit like Three 6 Mafia listening to bands like The Hives turns my stomach. 4 years ago they'd have gotten 1 star because I was that pissed at the trendcore kids. now I can be more open-minded As said earlier, best thing to happen to punk rock in a long time. fuck them they suck, sweden should be ashamed of them as well as epitaph. they just sound like another shitty wannabe strokes-like (who suck too.) band. epitaph is getting shittier and shittier every year. not saying any of this cause hives is on mtv. is were but good i wouldn't hate them. to the guy who said its a shame the us is so behind on music. what the hell has sweden produced? the hives? oh damn, you've got the u.s. on its heels. american punk bands better watch out. this review sucks... its so cute how this band thinks they´re the nation of ulysses, same with t(i)nc. I love this album. Kind of a Living End style on speed. The Hives (my new favorite band) is the best thing to happen to punk in years. Its a shame the US is so behind in music. a-mazing. |
