Public Access' newest effort Fleeced is a solid little ska-punk offering. Since there's a slight misdirection with a hardcore sound blended into its early goings only to quickly let more rock tones take over later on, it doesn't quite seem to provide just what the band is going for, but as far as the skank goes, it's a mostly fun six-song EP.

good album. I agree with you that the recording quality sub standardizes the overall potential of the album. The songs themselves are a bit weak in the continuity and lack a distinct edge that seperates them from other bands. I seriously hope ska comes back, at least as an alternative to the emo/screamo/metalcore subset of punk rock. Give me happy, bouncy fun-having kids anyday over the eyeliner, posing and dreary crap. wow, an Albany band on punknews. In what way are the vocals compreshensive? kinda reminds me of that flaiming tsunamis band...decent. a little jumbled together. alot of people probably think its gay Hahah, I like how the singer sounds like he's in a shitty hardcore band. I mean it, I actually really like it. | Features
