It's a sad day when a band as amazing as Strung Out rolls into town with Bane and Comeback Kid and the show isn't even sold out.

XD @ the Jason sweating comment. And as a special treat because today i feel like being annoying. Comeback Kid and Bane are good, very talent bands. But Strung Out are like a right hook to the face, one of the most intense bands to ever be born. They didn't play "Firecracker" or "Somnombulance"? Whoa that sucks. Well, At the least they played "Blueprint Of the Fall" and "Jackie-O". ( I mean come on! Who does not love "Jackie-O"?) Strung Out is the best band ever. I said it in 95 and I'll say it again. I wish they would play "Wrong Side of the Tracks" live again. I got into them in 2000 and I guess that was after they stopped playing it live. Some guy told me they used to end every show with that song. "This show Comeback Kid and Bane were the only draw! If you weren't at the front of the show then you saw the mass exodus of people after about 2 Strung Out songs. It's not 1997 people and Strung Out sucks, why do you think they had hardcore bands opening for them? Maybe cause they even realize that they aren't "hot" anymore." Hey, for this tour, I saw photos for Comeback Kid in montreal, and their guitarist Andrew was doing vocals for them. Was scott, their normal singer sick or something? score is for strungout period. hell yes i love both bane and comeback kid but they have got nothing on strung out. one of my fave bands eva. and how can you say that their not down to earth. i met jake at a gig in sydney and he was the nicest dudes ever. even after the gig jordan came down the front to chill with all the kiddies and hang out. nicest dudes ever.... though their merch guy when they came to Australia is a seriously cranky stoner. but they all are, and hell, if it makes that kinda music, maybe we should all become stoners...jks This show Comeback Kid and Bane were the only draw! Score is for Strung Out...I saw them in Calgary....Bane and Comeback Kid I'm afraid were just not my cup of shit....I hate all that screaming crap! such a fucking good and underrated band. their last album was in my top 10 of 2004. simply amazing...since 1996 iv'e been so damn impressed. This was the most redonkulous review to date!!!. If you're going to post a review on this site, at least have the insight to look up the correct spelling of your chosen words, and have the stones to make a solid point. This reminds me of the review posted by "Optex" (feb. 2004) in which the Sour Cream Kids were brutally attacked for their show at the Lantzville Hall. To all who use this site for what it's actually meant for.....thanks. To the guy who wasted my time with the Strung Out review........Nudd You!!! you know what band has a great name but sadly isn't all that good? What is Comeback Kid playing at the beginning of their set before first song. SOmething from a movie? They played this eerie clip of soemthing and I recognized it hc I saw them at Warped over the summer, and they had the first spot in Chicago, so it was pretty empty there. They put on a good show though. I was hoping to see them soon when they were coming back to Chicago, but I've got to work. The instrumental work is always top-notch, but the vocals are mediocre. I'm pretty sure Strung Out would have to play 3 consecutive shows with entirely different setlists for a lot of people to not have some issue with their setlist. Firecracker, Solitaire, Rotten Apple, Cemetery, The Kids I was missing "this band is one of tthe best live really, all of my mates were really impressed, now they love them. excellent band, great down to earth guys, beautiful show." yeah the singer for comeback kid was at the converge show in winnipeg when they were in toronto. He sang a song with terror, it was sick this band is one of tthe best live really, all of my mates were really impressed, now they love them. excellent band, great down to earth guys, beautiful show. Only time I've seen this band was at Warped, and they were AWFUL. Mostly due to a shitty set list. See photos from the Edmonton show here: http://bandphotography.com/features/gallery1/displayimage.php?alb um=114&pos=201 "Unless they play firecracker, things just ain't right" went to this in toronto.. comeback kid were good, although their guitarist was filling in on lead vocals.. bane was sweet, and we didn't even have to wait outside for an hour in the show this time before they played.. aaaaaand strung out was fucking god damn amazing great live band they get better and better everyfrikin time I saw the start of this tour, well not the start it was only Bane and Strung Out, no CBK. But Strung out said they were going to try to inject a lot of new shit into their set (such as the FIRST time they played Tattoo). my favourite part of this review was how he couldn't spell "subterranean"... This review was pretty good, but here's how I would make it better: You know, I can understand if you don't want to include info about the Joe-Schmoe opening band no one likes/has heard of/cares about....but come on. Bane and Comeback Kid opened. Tip for next time: just say sweat instead of bodily fluids. That just grossed me out. has anyone ever seen them play 'Deville' live? I started writing a review for this show, but never finished. So just for your information they didn't play: I'll be seeing them the 11th in Cleveland. Does anyone know if they've ever played "Your Worst Mistake" live? I'll be seeing them the 11th in Cleveland. Does anyone know if they've ever played "Your Worst Mistake" live? "Unless they play firecracker, things just ain't right" "7 songs in and they started their encore? wtf?" "7 songs in and they started their encore? wtf?" remember when strung out tried... sweating is going out of style asshole great effort man! i salute your review and.......... dare i say it? yes, i dare AMAZING!.......now if you'll post the other half of the review please i got to see strung out during their suburban teenage days to the tune of 20 people in kzoo, michigan...and it was FUCKING RAD. 7 songs in and they started their encore? wtf? |
