Let's see if I can fit this review into one sentence:
Peace, love and unity / Doesn't really work for me, You preach the word for a better world / But you selfish bastards are what's making it worse.C'mon, how much fun is that? A lot of fun. That's how much. This album gives us fourteen songs in forty-three minutes. Kind of a lot for a punk release, but whatever. If this is your bag, then be happy, 'cause it's a big one. There's really not much else to say about it. Either you're going to like it, or not. I guess you'll have to see if you do yourself. listen to the band they sound like what the review says which is pretty typical punk fucking rock. I enjoy concise reviews too, but this is just vague. He would like the reader to believe that a review like this is of a short, blunt style, but rather it's just him being lazy. You say concise like it's a bad thing. Why should this review take paragraphs to say what can be said in so much less? I liked it and I'ma check these guys out now. "It's a record. Or CD, depending on what format you prefer. There's punk songs on it. They're quite long for punk songs. Punk is often fast, shouty and angry. Sometimes it's melodic, sometimes it isn't." |
