Who knew England was breeding such a solid hardcore scene? First Walk the Plank, and now their label-mates, the even better Break It Up. Offering their brand new full length No Sides, these pissed Brits are poised to show this side of the pond how to make a fantastic hardcore record.

Awesome record. As far as the live show - this band are amazing when they have both Voorhees guitarists. sometimes other people stand in for one of them i think and its never quite as good, but still great! "The only time I really listen to hardcore anymore is when i'm playing "punch out" for NES..." p.s. vocalist is called lins not sid. 1 original member of voorhees, 1 (2?) spilling blood era members. bui are amazing, but totally different trip to voorhees, more youth crew. wicked band "Who knew England was breeding such a solid hardcore scene?" The only time I really listen to hardcore anymore is when i'm playing "punch out" for NES... if this has ANYTHING to do with Voorhees, I bet it totally murders. This is the UK group featuring members of the late-great Voorhees, right? good review, not a single comparison to another band. im not being sarcastic either. The production on this one is absolutley outstanding. The stuff they've recorded before doesn't match up att at all and neither are they able to replicate it live. |
