Brain Failure is the fuckin best! That one new song they played in Lemoyne sounded amazing. These guys are the real deal. I saw them in chicago and AAA was fantastic, so were Brain Failure and the code. but i really didnt like crime in stereo. a friend of my hyped em up a bit and i was excited to see em from what he told me, but i was let down. i went to the back of the venue and chatted during them. i think im the only one that didnt like them. i glanced real quick and thought this was AAA/Brain Failure Live in Compton. and then i looked closer and chuckled to myself. dude..why are there concert reviews w/o photos..useless. their Chicago set was only 40 minutes. fuck that I was at this show, and I have to say that pretty much everyone was in a crappy mood for some reason. Black Tie Bombers were indeed missing an original member, but their replacement guitarist did fine, although they couldn't sing any of Sam's songs... The Code? More like the Chode. That band sucks. I got the new AAA the other day and didn't think very much of it on my first listen. Guess I'l try again. I caught this in Edinboro. Watching Brain Failure is very awkward, but totally awesome. I'm guessing this was before Crime In Stereo dropped off the AAA tour??? Or are they still on? I caught the same show acouple weeks ago and it was great. Worth the $10 Saw this in Seattle. Brain Failure were friggen amazing. I had never heard them before either bot goddamn, if you get the chance, see them. i think against all authority is one of those bands i'll never see. this go around was the 4th time i've missed them for whatever reason. Sounds like you had a blast. The Chicago date I went to last Friday was one of the best shows I've ever been to. So I suppose I should suck it up and drive to Edinborough to see them, eh? New AAA is definitely amazing. Good to see they still kept alot of ska, even though there's hardly any horns on it. They ditched most of the politics though, which seems weird. They have songs about just dicking around and the radio and even a punk rock love songs. Only like 3 political songs on the whole thing, which belies the politically themed album art (inside and out). agreed, the new against all authority is amazing. I talked it out of an unnamed hopeless guy, and its amazing. The new AAA is amazing. Easily their best effort to date. Combines the sounds of all the other records. |
