When i first heard the album "Die For The Government", i knew that this band was gonna be something. It had some great songs but it was just a little to rough around the edges. So, as it seemed Anti-Flag went away for awhile, released "Their System Doesn't Work For You", but still were only inches from greatness. Then "A New Kind Of Army" was released and it blew me away. I wasn't expecting what i got as this album was recorded in Justin Sane's (vocals/guitar) kitchen.

One of my faves./... im not into the politics, but Anti Flag does rule. An this album makes you cool oh and this is their best album and one of those albums, one in a life time albums. i like all their shit but they will never make another cd like this one this is for the assholes that think POLITICAL not polotical, punk sucks. i bet ur an emo boy huh?? fall out boy yeah. talking about how they lost sum girl, cut their wrists. sad!! i really did hope they would do that for real. that would make my day. if u think the world is good as it is right now and thing everyone loves the USA, political punk is not for u because u will never understand their point of view. this is like the best anti flag cd and for all those ass holes who think not thiers something wrong thier. i think that this is one of anti-flags best cds EVER! the best song on this cd is captian anarchy. best anti-flag´s album so far, and one of my all time favourites. God damnit, one to many fucking 1's on this alblum. I love it. It might be because this was one of my first punk rock ablums which I really got into. The songs are filled with passion, bursting riffs and some filling beatz. I'd say this is some of the best to come out of the a-f boys, although most would disagree. Check out songs like 'Tearing Everyone Down' and 'Right On' ... Well fuck.. any song of the alblum rocks. Yea this albums sucks, i hate when "drunk bums" tell me about politics, rather than when straightedge guys try to open peoples eyes and get them to qurstion the shit around them. I have only heard a few Anti-flag songs, but I have read a lot of lyrics because I was planning on buying one of their albums. From what I have read, they spend half of their albums writing good, thoughtful political songs and the other half about drinking, what punk is, people who aren't punk and other stupid things. It's hard to have respect for a band when they might just be a group of drunken bums telling everybody else that they do not fit the punk stereotype. Eh, that should read on of the most pretentious, This is probably the most pretentious bands off all time, just a bunch of rich kids whining. A-F's breakthrough record has very few flaws. It has thought-provoking lyrics, good riffs, but Justin's voice has a little getting used to... Definately one of my favorite punk albums ever. A good album by an excellent band. I love musical sound on this album in oppose to underground networks more lyrical content. They are bothe brilliant albums. And to the idiot who said just write a song dont bitch music isn't just about writing a song everyone likes its abouut whatever the band in question want to express. Antiflag are using music as a walkway to get their political message across. Definately one of the best live bands ever. Political punk? Shit! What about that's youth-an awesome song about chilling with your freinds on a Friday night. It doesn't get better.YOU qwitcher bitchin | Features
