The first time I listened to One Man Army was on the World Warped 3 cd. I really liked the song "All your friends", it reminded a little bit of the Swingin' Utters and it had a lot of energy. After that I started downloading some songs from napster and i really liked them so I decided to buy their cd. I looked for it in a bunch of stores and they didn't have it. So finally one day I went to my local independent music store and found it. The first time I listened to it I liked it but it was nothing amazing. After listenig a few times it grew on me and I really like it now. One Man Army play really good old school punk rock, it sounds a little bit like the Swingin' Utters and the US Bombs, a little bit more energetic. My favorite songs are "Looming disaster", "All your friends" and "Last word spoken". If you like high energy old school punk rock you should really get this. Even if you are not the biggest fan of old school punk this cd is worth getting.

I agree with warningdevice, "The Old Songs" is one of the most kickass punk rock songs ever. The best way to open a record. The rest is good too and so is Dead To Me.

    My Score:

I give this a 10 just because the song "The Old Songs" is the most catchy kickass song I've heard in such a long time. The rest of the record is rad too. But that song makes this record what it is. Also check out Jack's new band Dead To Me, personally I think they're better than OMA.

    7 Stars?

Meh, I would have given this at least an 8. But in this case, it gets a 10 because im feeling nice. My favourites from this one would have to be Looming Disaster, Another Night, The Lonely Road Nowhere, The Tune of Leisure Pace... and I guess thats it. Awsome cd.

Once again, if any admins see this or anything. Could I review the oma dvd? Or are you able to review dvds on the site?

    Cheers!

    My Score:

Jack Dalrymple - O.M.A's guitarist & vocals - has a Camel Unfiltered voice & perfect pitch making him the George Jones of punk rock. Kudos go to Billy Joe Armstrong for flawless production. Dead End Stories is a good album - Last Word Spoken is a great punk album.

This shit rocks. The production is also amazing..produced by the one and only BJ Armstrong. If you haven't seen these guys live yet, catch with the Souls and Flogging Molly, you won't be disappointed.

This cd is really really really good. Also check out their first album Dead End Stories. These guys were great live. Their guitarist is amazing and his voice blends perfectly. If you're a fan or Ann Beretta or Rancid, pick this up.
