Holland’s best kept secret, Heideroosjes have written a solid and cohesive record with rousing sing-alongs and hard-hitting riffs that dominate the 40-minute duration, and if nothing else, credit must be given for the band not losing a bit of intensity towards the end when some of the songs seem to run a bit together.

Score is for I Against I. the lyrics from the link 3 below is hilarious. They collected their worsed songs for this record. They've got so much better songs (although all of their lyrics suck). oh yeah,, this cd isnt a real album, its more like a greatest hits for their debut US cd I reviewed this a few months back, there's some much worse lyrics than the ones quoted here: Holland's best kept secret is BAMBIX for me! i have this but haven't listened to it yet. The Ex are by far the best band from around here. These guys are amusing live, but really not very good on record. Yeah, how the hell can Epitaph sign The Matches, and Matchbook Romance, and Match City SoundMatch and I had to track down I against I's last non-epitaph releases, had to get their epitaph LP by sheer luck, and Undeclinable's Sound City I had to find online. nah the Undeclinables (previously known as Undeclinable and Undeclinable Ambuscade) are. One for the Money and Sound City Burning are some of Epitaphs best releases. I never could understand why Sound City Burning was Europe only considering some of the shit the Epitaph started peddling worldwide around that time. I always thought that I Against I was Holland's best kept secret. |
