Hydra Head just keep getting weirder and weirder. Now, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a large amount of releases this label puts out. They’ve always been one to stray away not only from the ‘norm’ but from even fitting a niche with their output. With a wide variety of bands playing an even wider variety of music, it’s tough to really say Knut are anything ‘weird.’ At the same time, their four full-length releases have all been fairly different from each other and most anything else put out on the label.

Where can I download it? I buy every album I like, therefore if this is posted somewhere for free I'll download it, and if I like it I'll buy it. I'm still skeptical about the remixes though. SilentStorms: For what it's worth, this one is the best remix records i've heard in the genre. Sure, there's a few chunks of filler, but there's definently a bunch of interesting stuff going on here. There's a spot or two that are absolutley breathtaking. But of course there's filler too. Atleast download it. this was one of the best records of 2006. seriously speaking of Challenger... i wish the band Challenger would put out a new record. there was a kid who went to bethpage high school named chris knutson or knudson whatev I really liked Terraformer and Challenger, but I've never heard a remix I liked. Is this even worth purchasing? Score is for Pelican and Isis' remixes. Hydra isent really that weird when compared to, like, holy mountain, Load, or Hanson. They do put out quality though. |
