Police & Thieves owe a pleasingly aural debt to Dag Nasty, playing energetic, mid-`80s melodic hardcore tinged with a continuous theme of struggle, and I'll be completely fine if they never actually repay it.

fucking hardcore bands naming themselves after reggae songs. but reggae songs that no hardcore kid would realize was a reggae song because the fucking clash covered it and made it sound like shit. jesus motherfisting christ.
