With only a one-foot barrier in front of me, Webster Hall was suddenly a lot less smaller, and that would make a world of difference in getting to see Explosions in the Sky for the first time.

I went to see this last night in Toronto and it was a pretty incredible show. Both the openers were great, and so completely different. The Paper Chase was phenomenal, if you can handle the discordant material. that is munaf, but when i saw him play @ emo's in march, he had his hair cropped much shorter and had no facial hair. mark smith has kinda a similar skin tone and had facial hair, if i remember correctly, so it's easy to confuse the two. i think you've confused mark smith with munaf rayani. i think you've confused mark smith with munaf rayani. I'm going to the show in Detroit on Monday and am now anticipating it even more now than before. I just hope I don't have to read about all their shit getting stolen (or mine for that mater) the next day. Great review. I can't wait till this show gets to Chicago. Gonna be an epic evening. God damn am I excited about this show. it's not even a contest...explosions in the sky is the best band in music I'm going to the show in Detroit on Monday and am now anticipating it even more now than before. NPR has the entire concert available for free download at the "All Songs Considered" site, or one of the shows right around this time. Despite the "yeaaaawwwwwwhhhhhh"s that punctuate the Explosions set, it's still quite amazing. I saw this show in Philly. Explosions in the Sky was awesomely amazing. I just sat down with my back to the wall and spaced out really hard. Simply incredible. Still sooooo mad that this tour sold out in Cambridge. My 8am class the next day even got canceled so it would have worked out perfectly. just picked up the new EITS album and its so fucking amazing. cant wait to see them again. Saw them in New Orleans earlier this month. Wonderful performance. Would definitely see them again. | Features
