Think I CareWorld Asylum (2006)Bridge Nine Records Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Anchors (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on June 1st 2007
The hype machine can be a dangerous thing for a new release. Prior to actually hearing Think I Care’s World Asylum some months ago, it was talked up as if it was the next Age of Quarrel. I heard very little of what it sounded like, and quite a bit of “dude, just fucking listen, it’s so good,” and “how have you not listened to this yet, it’s like the best hardcore album of the last five years.”

i cant believe people are saying that this is one of the best hardcore records. There are barely any tempo changes, no punch, its just boring. there are way better boston hardcore bands When I think "Boston hardcore," I don't think "slow-and-heavy groove." I think wild, out of control, hardcore punk. Sorry, Anchors. This is their worst record. Mongrel is where it's at. Yeah...best hardcore album of the past 10 years is most assuredly In My Eyes' The Difference Between. Past 5 years...I don't know. this band had one of my favorite band names, and i don't even like the actual music they play. | Features
