Several years ago La Quiete unleashed La Fine Non è La Fine, a rare full-length effort that fell directly within their constant output of brief vinyl releases. And today, the record remains one of the best screamo albums of the last five years, and possibly the best underground release Italy's had to offer in that time.

Score is for 2004! i never quite got in to this band as much as i got in to raein. i need to try harder. Yeah that works. I wasn't there. And it sucked. This band is great and a dude mentioned La Piovra those guys are awesome also but not really screamo but still awesome. so fucking good!!!! track 4 totally rips. I fucking love this album. Capolavoro. Niente da aggiungere. Damn you Archangel! Damn you! Brilliant. Without a doubt this is the greatest band that is still active today. IMO the best Italian releases of the last 5 years are all the La Piovra albums. They rip these dudes to shreds. I like La Quiete, though. Uh, not really. I'm missing The Fest because it's in Florida and I'm in Seattle. That's a couple of days of bus or train travel, or a really expensive plane ticket. Saying you missed them in Italy because you were in another city is like saying, "I went to America last year, and totally missed seeing them because they were playing in another state". Ignorance, people. This band is so fucking great. I was in Italy this summer and missed a chance to see them because, well, I was in the wrong city. |
