Here’s a neat little item. In 2006, Blacknoise Records, run by F-Minus and Leftover Crack’s Brad Logan, released a four-way split 7” that seemed to be more of a collector’s item than a sampler disc. Featuring three Crack Rock Steady-affiliated bands and one odd ball, the record almost has a cohesive purpose but then falls short at the end not because of song quality, but because of theme.

I enjoyed this. F-Minus rule because 7Seconds rule so because a split has bands that don't sound exactly the same, it gets a worse score? maybe it was just unclear writing, but thats ridiculous I got this on crack white vinyl, I think its number was 752 but I could be wrong. Bent Outta Shape is the best band on here, what the fuck are you talking about? Was it ever advertised as strictly having a crack rock steady sound? Not to my recolection. The Morning Glory song is great and it features Ezra using the drum machine again. The Bent Outta Shape song is actually a close second in my opinion. I am not sure you can get this anymore. I've had this for a long time, but whenever I'm looking through my records I either ignore it or just look at it for a second then decide to find something else. F-Minus is so fucking good. Srsly. Someone send me the F-Minus song so I don't have to own anything with Leftover Crack on it. wow, didn't even know about this. now i feel like ordering it. thanks! |
