| Tegan and Sara / Northern Statelive in New York2007 live show Review by: Brian See others by this writer Tegan and Sara (link) Only registered users can post comments Published on November 20th 2007
It seems Tegan and Sara could have easily sold out a venue twice Webster Hall's size, but here at the New York venue (1500 cap or so) one had to be thankful to have some level of intimacy. For all the arena-sized moments of boldness on the duo's recent album, The Con, it’s a much more comfortable setting dealing with a large club setting and not a huge theater.

i'm a hardcore punx *rolls eyes at own sarcasm* yet i'm still in love with these twins. i saw them live in Austin and they completely blew me away! i've been a fan for about two years now and i own everything they've ever recorded and i'm quite proud of that fact :) I'm sort of scared to see them on this tour. "tegan and sara and fat ass drummer with fro? when i saw tegan and sara play, the day after my 19th birthday, two years ago, july 10th 2005, the day after i saw dinosaur jr, july 9th, 2005, my 19th birthday, some dude in the crowd yelled, "YOURE HOT AS SHIT!!!!" id approach this review with great hesitation, i hope youll understand tegan and sara and fat ass drummer with fro? i enjoy tegan and sara's studio albums but the two times i've seen them live they were god awful. which was a bummer since i've followed them since 'this business of art' and have always enjoyed the live "bootlegs" i've heard. i'd love to hear "nineteen" live but i don't see myself ever going to another tegan and sara show. yeah, they were THAT bad. unless they start playing "not with you." i'd change my mind then... This band rules. I need to see these two live. Their last two albums have been gems. nice setlist, and nice review Hello, ladies Score is for the fact that they covered that Rihanna song. that's a long set! good review. Nice review... I'm bummed I missed them last month. |
