Aerosols can be likened to a stubborn skid mark on your sexiest pair of underwear; they’re guaranteed to ruin your good time, and they refuse to go away. It takes a vigilant ear and a quick wit to unearth, let alone comprehend the aural assault Aerosols heap upon the elite punk public. Unfortunately, discussion of the chaos slathered lavishly over their three waxen slabs to date often takes a backseat to complaints about the pressing practices of sugar daddy Mark McCoy’s Youth Attack! imprint. Each of their three incrementally-increasing-in-intensity EPs has been limited to a scant 200 copies, and painstakingly packaged in hand-made artwork, which renders the price of purchase higher than the average 7” ($9 PPD for four minutes of unrelenting hardcore). But let us lay such controversies aside for the time being.

Twas the Hampshire show. That was fun as shit. Some of my friend's friends came all the way from New Jersey to see it. Failures and Ripshit were great, but Aerosols blew me away. I wish I had picked up their 2nd EP from one of the distros there... :( was that the hampshire show? that was a great show. the 7" was sealed shut, which threw me off and made me laugh. Definitely a shot aimed at the E-bay crowd. The music is fucking awesome. Saw these dudes play at my college with the new all-star D.I.Y hardcore band failures. Oh I know Ampere, but that pic freaks me out. Isn't Ampere considered screamo due to their ties with Orchid, Montcalm, Transistor Transistor and the Wolves. Oh wait, that wasn't a question. Ampere is fantastic. Score is for Ampere. this is amazing. and you can still get a copy on youth attack's website. their not gone yet Mark Mccoy is skinny as shit! |
