In First Person had another recent split, this one being a seemingly simple 7" with one song on the A side and Titan offering a single contribution on the flip.

In First Person's "En Sabah Nur" is easily one of the best songs in their catalog. It begins with Benn Roe cackling over screechy, jammed riffs, then explodes into the restrained, orderly mess the band are coming to make their own, with spectacular vocal and guitar interplay. Then there's a bridge that builds and builds into a superb climax.

Titan play a screamy, heavy hardcore type on the other side, complete with growled, bellowing vocals to offer changeups from the more shrill screams; overall, "Throne of Blood" reminds me of Balboa's more chaotic moments, though comparisons have found them more alongside acts like Neurosis and Buried Inside. Either way, definitely a worthy followup for an epic 7".

The fat guy in Titan makes me incredibly happy. They sound kinda like UoU with digital production. I like.
IFP is always good. Awesome neckbeards.
