Star Fucking HipstersStar Fucking Hipsters: Until We're DeadUntil We're Dead (2008)Fat Wreck Chords Reviewer Rating: 4 User Rating: Contributed by: Hey_skaHey_ska (others by this writer | submit your own) I don't think anyone expects Leftover Crack to ever make a new album, but Star Fucking Hipsters come damn close. As everyone knows, this is the side project for LOC alum Stza Crack and LOC/Slackers drummer Ara Slack. Along with their buddies of other bands, they decided to get serious and record.

Amazing record! I didn't like this record at first but it's a grower. Definitely going to pick this up. And LOL @ Dante down there. I thought the same thing when I read that. Chix r hawt. Fucking great record! this cd was not too great. immigrants and hypocrites and two cups of tea are really good songs, but the rest is kinda mediocre, im just gonna say it. i was expecting a lot more from them i guess, but hey, its just a debut, maybe the next one will be better if there is a next one. i've always thought that stza's guitars sound like tom delonge circa '96-'98... minus the ska Score is for wasting perfectly good donuts. Paying to download an album is fucking stupid. If you're gonna download, why pay? If you're gonna pay, get the real thing. What the fuck is with this not being available on Itunes? Score's for the World/Inferno Friendship Society. I decided a few months ago that I was done with the crs family, but after seeing the positive response for this album, I suppose I'll order it when I preorder CIVILWAR. and you give him a perfect score? you're confused/lost as fuck... This is kinda boring Saw them last night in Philly too, and I agree, a lot more fun than the last time I saw Leftover Crack. They even offered the crowd some delicious baked goods... one of the albums of the year. This album has grown on me in the past few days. Saw them in Philly tonight and they were pretty good. need more cowbell. Score is for Stza I'd like to bring up the scores and comments about Stza. I think it starts strong and stays pretty good throoughout, although I think a few songs are a bit longish that cover art is terrible -is this a high school band? What the fuck is with this not being available on Itunes? This is a really solid CD. I definitely prefer the dancier parts, because the non-melodic parts aren't hard/fast enough. I think it's a good cd. Glad the reviewer enjoyed this, i however, do not. listening to this now It's a nice change of pace having a chick vocalist to accent the music. One thing you have to give Scott, he knows how to create a tizzy. i'll admit that there are a few good songs on here, "Empty Lives" is a great song and "Only Sleep" is good too..but other than that, as some would say, "meh." "punk bands need more keyboards"?????????? oh ya, I liked Choking Victim...but this is boring shit. 8? are you kidding me? no. more like a 6 at best. I enjoy leftover crack and choking victim, but this album is BORING! I hate leftover crack, I hate choking victim, I hate ska, stza is a cunt, this was bad. I thought this wouldn't be that good... I was wrong. Ska you say? I may have to give this a whirl. Meh... I'm not sure about this review but A for effort. |

Great, thats what you have to say about it? this is AMAZING, even though the album had to grow on me before I started loving this to death.
