this cd was not too great. immigrants and hypocrites and two cups of tea are really good songs, but the rest is kinda mediocre, im just gonna say it. i was expecting a lot more from them i guess, but hey, its just a debut, maybe the next one will be better if there is a next one.

Well, I don't necessarily think of 5 stars as "perfect" but what he doesn't do is come at you with strident moralizing sentimentality. How many others can you think of..?

This is kinda boring

Saw them last night in Philly too, and I agree, a lot more fun than the last time I saw Leftover Crack. They even offered the crowd some delicious baked goods...

This album has grown on me in the past few days. Saw them in Philly tonight and they were pretty good.

Also yes, Stza seems to be a lot happier. I think he was getting sick of playing in Leftover Crack and constantly being swarmed by people making obnoxious requests. Last time they played in Baltimore I witnessed a bunch of younger kids trying to get both his and the guitarist, Ezra's cell phone numbers, and being super annoying about the fact that they were denied.

I'd like to bring up the scores and comments about Stza.

If it was a while back, sure, I'd agree with you. I've seen him and heard him be a cock-fuck to his fans on several occasions.

However, in the past year (?) I've heard many turn-around stories, and that he's actually cool again. I saw SFH 2 weeks ago, and he was cool as shit then.

I'm not gonna rate him, but I'm more pro-Stza now than in recent years.

Again, score's for the album. I love the fuck out of it.

I think it starts strong and stays pretty good throoughout, although I think a few songs are a bit longish

This is a really solid CD. I definitely prefer the dancier parts, because the non-melodic parts aren't hard/fast enough.

I think it's a good cd.

Gotta say, as big of a LoC/CV/MG/INDK/CRS7 fan I am, was, this sounds really bad.
I'm pretty sure stza is just getting worse since fuck world trade. The LoC/Citizen Fish split was pretty fucking weak too

It's a nice change of pace having a chick vocalist to accent the music.
