The CarrierNo Love Can Save Me [7 inch] (2008)Deathwish Inc. Reviewer Rating: User Rating: Contributed by: OverDefined (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on December 5th 2008
As a reviewer I believe that I’m supposed to have my own opinions and draw my own conclusions about records. I saw the Carrier’s debut full-length One Year Later as good album but more of a promise of better things to come. Since then, they signed to Deathwish, Inc. last year, and I then caught a highly impressive live set from them and heard the hype compounding on the Internet.

i definitely have to disagree with the reviewer. this 7" is great. the end of epiloge : forgiveness makes me want to smash things. I have their old cd, and I think it's pretty good, but the one song from this release they have on their myspace "No 51" or whatever it is called, is significantly better than their older stuff in my opinion. I really like the more MLIW sound they're going for. If everything else sounds like that song on this release, then I will definitely pick this up. this record is awesome, so heavy and melodic. I feel the same way about Modern Life Is War as the reviewer did about this release. I heard Tim from the Carrier is in this band This has been out for a while...and its awesome. saw these guys live I liked this a looot ... hmmm ... Haven't heard this, but their guitar playing is really sweet. | Features
