Murder by Deathlive in Chicago (2008)Vagrant Records Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: raext23 (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on December 16th 2008
Recently I had the pleasure of seeing the live show of Murder by Death along with their soulful buddy William Elliott Whitmore and this band from Baltimore, J. Roddy Walston and the Business, who I had not had a chance to listen to. I spent some time thinking to myself that if J. Roddy was playing a solo set and the Business (as in the band) played, what an odd sort of show that would have been.

Man, I wish I had gone to this. I went to the metro to grab their 7" split, but had no one else to go with so skipped the show. Score is for Murder She Wrote. Great show. This was one of my favorite tours of the year. J. Roddy has a really fun live show. Previous comment seriously backed about WEW... the dude is just fucking incredibly talented. Can't wait for the new release! This was an amazing show. Definitely one of the best I have been to this year. William Elliot Whitmore is just plain amazing in almost every aspect. I can not wait for the upcoming shows; particularly at Reggie's. I only wish WeW was coming back with them. | Features
