On their fourth album, the Bananas haven’t really changed much. They are still playing fast, lo-fi pop punk. Yet, New Animals is refreshing in the sense that it’s incredibly energetic and gives off the feeling that the three band members are having almost too much fun playing these songs. This also happens to be the best album these guys have released so far.

Best album of 2008 Incredible band. I really like this album, but I'm not too sure it's for anyone. The mix is all guitar and vocals while everything else is in the background. I could see a lot of people finding that really annoying. This album kicks so muck ass. I still think Forbidden Fruit can't be beatas far as my favorite Bananas album, but this easily made my best of '08 list. | Features
