There's not much new one can say about a band like the Shaking Hands. They play a brand of uptempo punk rock that's somewhere between street punk and melodic hardcore, like if Revolutions Per Minute and Let's Go! somehow mated and crapped out a child. Their self-titled debut is a nice little piece of music, but there's nothing here you haven't heard before. Maybe that's the point, though.

Shaking Hands, turning The Horror shirts into collector's items since '07? '08? i love this record and have been listening to it consistently for a year. I've been a fan of this band for years. Anyone into good punk rock would be screwing themselves for not giving it a listen. A lot of this album kinda blends together, but there are just enough hooks placed throughout it to keep me entertained. I am enjoying this. Seriously? From the review, I figured I would just take a pass on this, but if there are Young Livers members involved, maybe I'll check it out. Those guys rule. awesome album. you forgot to mention two guys from Young Livers play on it. | Features
